We came to this Country as" invaders",the American Indians were here before we arrived, yet thru history all we have done is persecute the American Indian..never have we treated them with the same dignity that we treat all the illegals that sneak into this country,yet money,homes,school,medical are all given to them..Least we forget that the American Indians were here first ..have we forgot that we came into "THEIR LAND" ???? WE TOOK OVER THEIR LAND,KILLING THOES THAT GOT IN OUR WAY,MEN,WOMEN, CHILDREN, YOUNG AN OLD..MADE NO DIFFERENCE.. WE HAVE LIED,BROKEN ALL TREATIES ,PROMISES TO THEM ,WE HAVE GONE OUT OF OUR WAY TO TAKE ALL FROM THEM EVEN THEIR DIGNITY !! after review of all the facts from the case of "Leonard Peltier"..seeing the movie,reading trial transcripts, i find that again we have done a great injustice to this man,as well as all the American Indians once again..i am ashamed that we as Americans have allowed this once again to happen..any one,educated or not can see that the facts are not as they were stated to be " BY THE FBI "..i may not be the smartest women in the world,but as a advid gun user,hunter, an American citizen ..the shell casing could never have been where it lay,it does not take a genius,to see the discrepencies in the case against him....all this is a ruse to blame the American Indians, yet again for the way the Government failed.. now we deny him "medical care"..what is wrong with this picture people ??? They "American Indians are the true People of this Country"..they were first,we are the invaders,an still we treat them as we have from the begining... IT IS FAR PAST TIME,ENOUGH IS ENOUGH..WE HAVE STOLEN HIS FREEDOM DENIED HIM DUE PROCESS,AN THE BASIC HEALTH NEEDS THAT AS A "TRUE AMERICAN NATIVE INDIAN" HE IS ENTITLED TOO.. IT IS WAY PAST TIME TO GIVE THIS MAN HIS "FREEDOM" AN SEEK THE MEDICAL HELP THAT HE NEEDS...THIS INJUSTICE NEEDS TO BE CORRECTED,AS A AMERICAN I AM ASHAMED OF THE GOVERNMENT,FOR THE YEARS AN YEARS OF CRUEL INHUMANE WAY WE HAVE TREATED LEONARD AN HIS PEOPLE.. PLEASE, WE ARE A GREAT NATION..NOW WE JUST NEED TO ACT UPON AND LIVE UP TO WHAT THIS NATION IS BASED UPON..FREEDOM AN JUSTICE FOR ALL !!!!REPORT COMMENTS
