That would be a nice idea to grant parole to those who have served a lengthy sentence and they are reformed such as one gentleman by the name of Andre Roach.....Sep 9th, 2015Someone from Upper Marlboro, MD signed.

I agree on the matter of bringing back federal parole. This would cut the spending on housing and caring for inmates as well as create ways to help inmates re-enter society productively. Correction is teaching, coaching, and guiding not just simply holding, dehumanizing, and punishing people for years and letting them back into society without a real foundation to remain positive and productive citizens.REPORT COMMENTS

This is my husbands 1st federal offense and they slapped him with 13 yrs while I was pregnant with our 4th kid. He has a non-violent case and I think he deserves less time or a chance to parole. How can a rapist get a chance before a man with a family who loves his kids?? Pls consider!!!REPORT COMMENTS

Alot of these offenders need significant rehab. For instance, repeat offenders. Repeat offenders of the same thing. Career criminal, any offender really. Parole should be available to everyone. Cases should be reviewed on an individual basis. One size fits all sentencing is not fixing anything. It doesnt even work with clothes. Why would in the judicial system? Now only why but HOW? Its unfare either way you look at it. Everyone deserves an equal opportunity to redeem themselves. If they keep repeating what about a diffetent route. If billions can be thrown in the trash yearly! Just by housing these VERY LONG sentences. Why not take away the length and implement ligitimate treatment plans and or centers? Not everyone is born into a family that teaches good morals and respect. Again, a one size fits all attitude aint going get anyone anywhere. Please reinstate federal parole. What good is it doing to keep elderly physically ill nonviolent prisoners incarcerated? It is costing our government millions of dollars to keep these men and women behind bars. That money could be used to to help our youth and give them a chance to have a better life.REPORT COMMENTS
