Please ban assault riffles in the United States. We are a civilized and well educated nation. I'm not against individuals owning guns for hunting, or even possibly a handgun. It seems as though we have better regulations to protect wildlife through hunting regulations, than we do for our own citizens. This is insane. This isn't an all or nothing debate over if people can own guns. It's about removing assault weapons from gun stores and not allowing known terrorists or those on watch lists to buy weapons. "The next time you hear the President spout off selected statistics about how gun control works, you remind him that the U.S. Cities with the strictest gun control laws also have the highest rate of violent crime and murder. Remind him that you are 37% more likely to become the victim of a violent crime or murder in a State that has enacted strict Brady gun-control Laws.
