This condition is extremely horrible and living with it myself keeps me at home. The pain is severe, the daily vomiting, unable to eat without making yourself worse, being terrified to eat and having severe fatigue and weakness from not absorbing needed nutrition to keep ourselves up and going. I suffer from Gastroparesis. It is a horrible disease. I have lost my career. I have lost my life really. I am nothing close to the person I use to be. My disease has gotten so bad that I am in complete gastric failure. Gastroparesis has got to be recognized as a disability.REPORT COMMENTS

My daughter was telling me about this..how her step mom (my ex wifes, wife) suffers from it...my daughter has been on the computer everyday for the last few months trying to read up on it and get as much info as she can. I have suffered for several years. I lost my job & all of my friends due to my health problems. I have developed secondary conditions due to the effects of GP. It also has prevented me from even getting part time work to help with my bills as I'm slowly dragged through the court system.
