First they came for the songwriters, then for the book authors, then the filmmakers, then the TV and cable. Soon the internet became a pawnshop with miles of empty shelves, and the all shoppers wondered why.REPORT COMMENTS

HELP! I have been a successful songwriter all my life and I can't feed my family anymore. Royalty statements that used to be tens of thousands of dollars by the density of pages are now lucky to produce over $50.00. While executives for these streaming companies are paid in the tens of millions in annual salary from a model that is 100% our work!REPORT COMMENTS

I am a sole proprietorship music clearance and publishing administrator. I represent many independent songwriter/publishers who bleed their hearts and souls into their songs and recordings. They deserve to be compensated fairly. As their administrator, I am entitled to 10% of what they are paid in royalties. I work very hard to keep their catalogues up-to-date, issue required licenses in order to receive royalty payments, and pitch their songs to other artists and synchronization opportunities. I also deserve to be paid fairly. Thank you for your assistance in solving this problem before there is no more new music to enjoy because no one can afford to write it, record it, or push it.REPORT COMMENTS
