Right now there's nearly zero fiscal compensation for those who toil in the fields of the Muse, which is inconsciable, unfair, and Must be changed! Songwriters deserve to be paid for their work.REPORT COMMENTS

this is extremely important in order for us songwriters to be able to make a living, and to support our craft. Without us, you won't have the music you love. And without proper credit and compensation we cannot continue to songwrite. We are extremely sensitive and passionate groups of people and usually this means everything to us. To have a gift and not be able to survive using it, would be a damn shame.REPORT COMMENTS

Money is being made in the music industry again, but by the hardware companies and major labels cutting bulk deals for songs, the proceeds of which are often not passed on to the songwriter. The creative forces behind the reason corporations are able to profit need to be protected and accounted for, because the corporations will not do it.REPORT COMMENTS
