pay attention to the artists, they're usually the ones who keep a running commentary on our times, take away their voice, and their right to payment, and you'll do a colossal disservice to our country above and beyond what's been done already. (::)Jan 22nd, 2015Someone from Los Angeles, CA signed.

The music industry has become like all other industries with the profits going to the 1% (ONE PERCENT) in control...instead of to the actual CREATORS of the music itself...and it greatly SICKENS me. Music is NOT FREE TO CREATE, therefore it should NOT be free to disseminate...without CONSENT and fair PAYMENT to it's CREATORS.REPORT COMMENTS

The middle-class of the professional American songwriter has been almost completely wiped out. It's past time for these outdated rates, set by the government, to be brought in to this century reflective of the new world order of music distribution. There is a thriving economy just on the other side of this single pen stroke.REPORT COMMENTS

It's absolutely disgraceful that it has taken our government, who SETS the rates at which we songwriters get paid, is taking FOREVER to help fix this problem and unfairness. Amend that DECREE NOW before more super talented songwriters get forced out of the business because they can't put food on their tables. Don't let technology kill the inspired. The same rights that protect our creations are in most cases the SAME RIGHTS that protect technology company's intellectual property/patents etc... Stop the bleeding for us Congress!REPORT COMMENTS
