Lupron, Leuprolide needs to be taken completely off the market immediately with out delay until "Protection Law" is implemented!

Before Lupron, I was an average 22 year old college student. Active in my community as a volunteer and as a gymnastics coach, I loved being around people and serving as much as I could. Now after lupron, I am lethargic, my joints and muscles are constantly in pain, and I am experiencing more problems now than before taking this drug. Now, 23 years old, I feel like I am limited physically and mentally. My muscles do not function properly anymore, some of my organs are permanently damaged from this drug, and my personality went from being "happy go lucky" to "tired & depressed." Please, sign this petition. Sign this petition so that way no one else has to suffer. I understand that many of you who are reading this has no idea what endometriosis or fibroids are or what they feel like and for that, you are extremely blessed. My daughter is just not my beautiful, bubbly, full of life daughter because she was prescribed Lupron to treat her endometriosis. She is in excruciating pain, it's a struggle for her to get out of bed but she does because she has two boys 4 and 5 that need her. This drug has forever changed not only her life but her families lives. To watch someone struggle everyday in pain especially your child is so great breaking. To know I can't help her is worst. This drug lupron did nothing to help her endometriosis. She hurts just to walk, she can't sleep, she has anxiety, head aches, she has to now live on anxiety meds, pain killers. .she never took and aspirin before! I've watched the strongest girl I know become so fragile, she talked about killing herself. She left her health in the professionals hands, her Dr. who only told her about a few side effects she thought she could live with but THIS! Take this drug off the market and get a lawsuit against the manufacturer and Dr's who so freely give this to someone who does not know the real side effects.REPORT COMMENTS

i spent a year on this drug without being warned about the severe side effects. I broke three teeth requiring crowns, my joints are stiff and achy and don't function appropriately now, and coming off of it my endometriosis was far worse than any day before the treatment leaving me in daily pain.REPORT COMMENTS

I took 5 of 6 prescribed monthly injections for Stage IV Endometriosis in 1999 before realizing the adverse impacts of this drug. It is now 15 years later and each condition that began while under treatment has compounded greatly and splintered off into a dozen other related conditions. Dr. after dr. after dr. scratch their heads as my life wastes away dealing with chronic conditions, taking drug after drug and paying out of pocket 600 plus dollars a month for prescriptions alone! I knew something was wrong and consulted with an attorney in 2000....now another 15 years have passed. Imagine the litigation if "us victims" actually had all of our previous mental capacities and endurance to fight this thing! NO ONE SHOULD TAKE THIS DRUG!REPORT COMMENTS

The bad effects from Lupron far exceeded those from chemotherapy and radioactive treatment. I stopped after two injections, I received no warning papers, didn't even know what I was given. A OB/GYN at Kaiser Permanente in Southern California suggested this as a therapy for pelvic pain without any evidence of fibroids or endometriosis. It was his opinion that if the menstrual cycle was stopped, the pelvic pain would stop. Thankfully I looked up the drug and declined this treatment. I have read numerous articles and posts about this medication (Lupron) only to realize how dangerous this drug actually is. Unfortunately I was not informed by my healthcare provider of the very serious side effects of Lupron and what it would do to the quality of my life.
