I don?t agree with the sentence. It should be as harsh as the way she treated Patrick. But, unfortunately, the laws are not strict enough to sentence her to what she really deserves. Just a few months ago, there was a story about Courage, and there was another about Abel. When is it going to stop? How many of you have pets? What would you do if someone abused or neglected your pet? I am writing you to ask you to please change the laws, then we can start seeing some justice. Until the laws are changed, all we can do is get mad at these people. That doesn?t help anyone, especially victims like Patrick. So, its up to us to force the changes, or this will just continue, because people think they can get away with it and they do. Maybe we can make something good come of this very bad thing. Please make the laws harsher on animal cruelty and neglect. I hope you take this very seriously. I have seen enough of this. Patrick can?t write the letter, so I am writing one for him. I guess the only justice in this case is, Patrick lived and she got arrested. At least that?s something. Thank you for your consideration in this matter. JackieREPORT COMMENTS
