i would like ti know how to sue the state of Iowa for taking my 3 boys away back in 2001. i know its been awhile but i just do not know where to turn. my older boy is now of age and we have a perfect relationship. he remembers everything and knows i did nothing it was my ex. i got out my court papers a month ago and read them again and notice lies in there and they did not even try to reunite me with my boys. if any one would like to know the story you can get in touch. i would like to sue them not for the money cause if i win the money would go to my boys i just want them to know they cant do this to a hardworking, loving momREPORT COMMENTS

First I would like to say I am truly sorry to some of you for all the pain you all have went thru with dhs. I am married to a wonderful man who was previously married and had 2 children out of this marriage. My husband has fought tooth and nail spending countless hours with lawyers and spending thousands of dollars to fight for custody of his 2 kids for the last 6 years. Let me tell you.....his ex has done nothing but put her children thru grief. Emotional, physical and mental abuse! She has since remarried and has recently been put on the child abuse registry for 10 years! But guess where the children are? Still in her care! My husband has done everything the courts have asked and more! So let me tell you this.... Dhs in no way do there job! They have even said that the children have to be critically injured in order for the children to be removed. So...my question is.....does my husbands children have to be hospitalized or god forbid killed by there mother for the children to be removed from her care? We have even asked dhs to do random drug testing cause it had been brought to our attention that the mother and husband had been doing drugs. Once again....dhs did nothing!! I could write a novel about what is going on but I'm sure space is limited. If anyone has any information or guide us to whom we may speak with, would be greatly appreciated. Thank youREPORT COMMENTS

Please someone tell me how I can get my rights back please. I'm 23 years old I have 2 kids I started using meth when I was 19 I've never been in rehab before I've never did drugs before this. I've been a very good kid and mother I mean I had a verbal agreement with my mother and my daughters grandma that my daughter stay with Them until I got off the drug So she didn't have to be around the drugs or go house to house I thought that was the best motherly Choice I could have made for my daughter. then I got pregnant again and you just gave me 7 months to get clean get a job Get place to live get my kids and take care of them alone. After my whole life just got flip upside down my parents divorced the house we lived in for 13 years my little brother went to prison. So much more I was in an abusive relationship Do you think they understand any of that. I went to rehab like that asked me to I'm going to a meeting my baby daddy didn't but who got there right taking me not him.
