As grandparents, we were turned into CPS on false pretenses. We went through the legal steps & could have lost our jobs. Thank god we did have kids CPS could remove from the home! As for the reporter to CPS; they sat back, laughed & enjoyed show. I was told anyone can report whatever they feel. This is NOT ok!!! Where are my RIGHTS for going through hell? Just because someone thought it would be funny & they COULD!!!! -

My granddaughter was taken away and placed with an abusive step mother and an equally abusive dad...my daugher fought for three years and got her back...she is and has been in psychiatric care since and has a long recovery ahead...this is not helping children...attorneys working with cps are as guilty and should also be investigated too...REPORT COMMENTS

I have a facebook group of parents who are fighting false allegations of child abuse. It is an epidemic of insanity, and children are the ones who are suffering the most. I have made calls to report child abuse by neglect and the system is bias. The mother of the children lock her children in their bedrooms at night and she over medicates them. I have reported this to police, cps, doctors and they all keep going into a loop that states call CPS. They don't do anything. DHS came to question me due to accusations that i was taking drugs with my 15yr old daughter and letting her boyfriend stay the night . I answered all their questions honestly not knowing that would be a mistake. I offered to take drug test which I did that day and it was negative of course. She was pregnant and didnt realize letting her boyfriend stay was illegal since she was pregnant.Now my grandson is in foster care because of my daughters choice but my grandson should have went to a family that were waiting to help and had a home study done and were ok'd by DHS. They have LIED, DENIED and TWISTED the truth to cover up their mistakes. DHS is understaffed and are working with a skeleton crew. This has to end now.REPORT COMMENTS

I was placed on the registry after making a DHS case worker mad by using the term "lawyer". She clearly stated to me that she was placing me on the registry "because of your attitude". She also reflected that in the assessment. The assessment clearly stated "minor" incident. However, after mention the word "lawyer" her assessment changed. She put into the assessment that I stated my child sat fires and was mean to animals and cried at school ALL OF THE TIME, when I never said such a thing. So, I was place on the registry for "denial of critical care". She stated in the administrative hearing that she may have gotten her cases mixed up. when she found out I didn't lose my health care job, she was dumbfounded. She thought placing me on the registry would cause me to lose my job which in the appeal rejection notice, it stated over and over about me not being able to work in health care as the reason for me wanting my name removed from the record. I lost my appeal because "you aren't allowed to enter new evidence". I proved myself innocent, but I'm not allowed to enter new evidence, so my name stays on the registry for 10 years? OH....this gets better....for kicks and grins they also put physical abuse on the registry. Not sure how they managed that one, even more so since my child was seen by a doctor immediately after the DHS worker left my home. For almost 10 years my name has remained on the registry for physical abuse, when there never was any abuse. For ten years my name has remained on the registry for "allegations of denial of critical care" that the DHS case worker created on her own. My child is now 19 years old and can tell you I have never so much as spanked him. I have three children ages 21, 19 and 17. They can all three tell you that the things written in the assessment are lies. Anyone with a brain can read the assessment and see it is falsified yet my name remains on the registry. I let my employer read the assessment, I sent word to the Iowa Board of Nursing and they did not have one issue with me going to nursing classes because the assessment is clearly falsified. While I did not lose my children, I can not fathom what other's have gone through.REPORT COMMENTS

My parental rights were severed YESTERDAY. My ex fell with my daughter due to a torn miniscus and twisted trying to catch her in mid air after she was squirming in his arms. all he did was wake her up for lunch and she thought she was being put down for a nap again. his knee gave out resulting in a spiral fracture of her femur. no witnesses. i heard him fall. he would never hurt our daughter. cps started in with false allegations saying the spiral fracture of my two yr olds (at the time) femur was due to child abuse. THIS IS FALSE. they brought up a tussle we got into a month prior and used it against us. the children were not involved. He broke into the house after i was pressured to sign a restraining order and " voluntary service plans" which turned into court mandated plans. cfs waited until my daughter was out of her half body cast and i got her walking again. her father went crazy without seeing the children and I and broke into the house. he and i started arguing and i tried to push him out of the house. not wanting to. the children were detained for FAILURE TO PROTECT. my two yr old was molested in foster care a month later. cps told me it was a "yeast infection" but i only saw redness. nothing showing a yeast infection at all. when the children were with me my two yr old and nursing baby. cfs saw a piece of wrapped string cheese from the day before on the ground and a few crumbs on the carpet from lunch that day, a pile of dirty laundry as "unsanitary living conditions" when i gave them a look as if they were crazy.. they reported i "was overwhelmed with the care of her two children and is having a hard time coping".. this caused "concern" and i was ordered for a mental health assessment. I took it and all the therapist recommended was 8 counselling sessions. After my third baby was born and snatched from the hospital due to my social worker krystal loveless arshad telling me " ill fax the detention report to HUD" and waited two days after my termination date to do so. my third newborn baby was taken at the hospital for me being homeless. I had to relocate out of county and do something drastic. the fact that my ex was innocent was not made into the case to solve how they got involved in the first place. I moved counties, they went with family, visits were going well and it looked promising i was getting my babies back. the referral for those 8 counselling sessions took forever to go through and my children were on the FAST TRACK.. My car was stolen while visiting another town and was stranded, i couldnt get to my kids for over a month. cps wouldnt pay for me to. they just said i have been neglecting my children due to the lack of visitations and court appearances. I told my social worker Wendell stamps my situation. those couselling sessions, still lingering and no way to get services in another town. i completed parenting classes, i almost taught some with my e.c.e. and montessori background. i completed domestic violence classes. evenREPORT COMMENTS

CPS has been so aggressive in the state I live in. Our attorney is trying to get our 3 kids but it is hard. I have no history of abuse. They just took them because of a false claim. I did not see it from the get go. My newborn baby was taken right from the blank hospital in Des Moines because they figured we didn't know how to feed our baby. They say that they are "scared of us" and that we are "not able to know where he is at(the newborn)." People in law enforcement are very rude to my husband and arrested him for talking to someone that he was told to vent to. I am not naming anyone. People help bring our 3 children home please. CPS just removed my three children from my care based on false accusations and in fact, they wouldn't even tell me what the accusations were. They said, " we feel that you will go home and beat your kids", claiming reasonable doubt. I do NOT have a history of abuse. I did not do this and yet they can get away with it. I find it ironic that my ex has abused my son on 3 separate occasions and gotten away with it and this comes less than two weeks after I reported my son being abused by his dad! Our worker has repeatedly lied to us and then in the presence of other workers, says we are the liars. She has been court ordered to provide certain services and never once followed through. My husband and I have been harrassed by DHS workers, and told if we don't do what they say, they will removed the children...well, we did each and everything they asked us to do and our children are now in foster care as a result of hearsay. Oh, and they took our kids on Wed (8/1/12) and I didn't know where they were until Friday...REPORT COMMENTS
