I am a geoscientific researcher working towards a masters in the US. I am happy to learn STEM Needs more employable folk here. I did not realize there was a shortage of us here, in my country, as much as I love biracial governing or confused politics--- I Would rather have a job or course of action for myself and my whole, restroom for my next thirty or more years I am supposed to be HERE.May 20th, 2013Someone from Houston, TX signed.

I came to US 10 yrs ago and it took me 10 yrs to graduate a pharmacy school and find a company filed h1b for me. No matter how hard I tried for 10yrs, I have to go back to my country now because I was not selected in the lottery.REPORT COMMENTS

Please increase the allotment. I am unable to bring a uniquely qualified candidate to work in the U.S. due to a miss on the lottery. This will have an impact on my delivery of revenue commitments for my company.REPORT COMMENTS

we have employees which work for our non-US subsidiary. They are trained to work on our tools and we are now unable to bring them here to assist our company's growth further. We applied for 3 H1-B's and 1 made the lottery. It is making a financial hardship for our companyREPORT COMMENTS

Selecting candidates to work in US based on the lottery system not only hurts the talented candidate but also doesn't improve the work the quality and culture of US. There should be no quota, if you have graduated in US. Spending so much time and efforts in getting a degree and being treated poorly using lottery system will hurt US economy for not being able to retain the talent.REPORT COMMENTS

A lottery system does not reward merit. What about those foreigners that truly bring skills to our country that propel innovation and growth? (not just in technology but other creative fields as well)REPORT COMMENTS

People that beliebe in hard work to success in live shouldn't deppend on a lottery to be able to work. Luck shouldn't be a factor to give or deny a working visa.REPORT COMMENTS
