It's a dead loop cycle. Companies cant find qualify people and no choice but to outsource to the countries. So, we looses people and looses jobs.

Please increase the quota. We are losing valuable, US-trained, employees to india/china because after we train them we can't hire them!

Please increase the cap. At least the advanced degree holders should be given a higher priority.

Please give an opportunity to students to demonstrate and excel at the skills they have acquired in the Universities here. There is a significant investment of time, effort and money from both the students and the Universities. Please dont let it go to waste through a lottery system.

Ideally advanced degree holders in STEM fields shouldn't be placed in the same bucket as other H1B applications as they've invested the time and money to get a US degree, and the argument then cannot be made that they are not equivalent to the US workforce in terms of skills, pay etc

I'm graduating with Master's degree from a top university this June. I have a job offer in hand and will need h1b next year. However, with the current cap, I'm not sure if I can get the visa. So does many of my friends worry about this. PLEASE PLEASE INCREASE THE CAP!
