I devoted 6 years of my life to get an advanced degree in engineering from Texas A&M University and would like to continue pursuing personal and professional growth in the U.S. I do not agree that my future should be decided by a computer through a lottery. Yes, quota should be increased. I spent a lot on my studies lending my home. The only reason I did that was, both me and my family thought quality education is important than money. Apart from fiancial prospective, after my degree completion, I have been through a very hard time in finding a right job as an Electrical Engineer at a very good firm. This job is a dream come true for me. I am doing my best and receiving the appriciation for my work. How much is it true that I should be loosing it not because me being incompetent but just because of "lottery luck"? This is not just a game that you spend a dollar to see if fortune turns overnight! This is a life of someone. Always a chance should be given for one if he/she is capable of doing what the company is looking for.REPORT COMMENTS
