DOA Police officers Kimberly Munley and Mark Todd had no reservations about their perspective roles on November 5th, 2009 when an active shooter opened fire at Ft. Hood?s readiness center. VA Police officer Jose Oscar Rodriguez-Reyes did not contemplate OPM?s definition of law enforcement when he gave his life in San Jan, Puerto Rico on April 24, 2002. Thousands of series 083 police officers report to work around the clock and secure our nation?s most sacred institutions and resources. Should they not be granted the same benefit of any other LEO that is willing to sacrifice their health, their safety, in some cases their marriages, up to 30 years or more of their lives, and if necessary die to enforce our nation?s laws and protect its citizens? Please take the opportunity given here and grant not only the benefits provided by this proposal to these brave men and women, but also bestow the honor of a title that is fairly deserved.REPORT COMMENTS
