This school lied to me as they showed they were accredited at the time I signed up. They also told me there was no such program as the first one I asked about (medical coding and billing). When I asked about the program I was asked what is that; so then I was directed towards all the healthcare programs they had. It would sure be nice if something was done to help out. I am expected to pay over $600 a month each year which I cannot afford so I go through all the paperwork to get a lower payment that is still too high and end up only paying interest which does not even touch the balance. The whole system needs to be revamped (They don't even ask for taxes just the last three pay stubs and the size of your family; that's only a 1/4 of the year, which in my opinion does not give a true and accurate picture of a persons income).

It would be great if there could be some REAL DEBT RELIEF and even cancellations to student loans. How can we ever really get ahead if we are in a continual state of DEBT...how is it better for our families, if trying to obtain a better way....only digs us in so deep in debt that our grandchildren would still owe? I also have student loan debt from too and liberty... Just seems so unfair.

The UOP courses were so basic each class was a test of patience and very annoying. They spent most of every class teaching about ethics. You can cover ethics in one course. UOP does nothing to teach anyone about business. UOP teaches the bare minimum with courses on par with high school complexity. This school is a paper mill. I have regretted getting my degree here from day one. It has not helped at all in my job searches and left me with a running total of almost 100k when all is said and done. Any person who stand up for this school especially after paying for it and sitting through the BS courses doesn't understand they have been taken for a ride.

I am $63,000 in debt after obtaining my bachelors degree from UOP 4 years ago. I have been on a repayment plan and have been making payments but have only seen my balance go UP rather than down. Please help. I am constantly in a hopeless state wondering if I will ever be able to get these loans paid off.

The degree has not helped me advance in the way presented by representatives of the school. I'm paying student loans that are astronomical and now have a daughter on college. Since graduating the school I changed fields and make the same salary I did 15 years ago.

They told me there were a variety of degrees to transfer to and when I went to transfer my major they had no classes available. I then left the UOP. After leaving they put a hold on my transcript and said that until I pay $700 for leaving before 4 classes were done they returned my federal grant and now I have to pay for leaving because they didn't offer the education they told me they were offering. This school is a scam.

My husband was preyed on by this unaccredited University. We are now thousands of dollars in debt, with no degree to show for it. Please forgive the student debt that has been accrued by this deceptive school, which steals time and money from its students, and hands them nothing in return.

It's still not clear to me how I have so much student debt from UOP when I used my GI Bill for my degree. I'm lucky that I have a good job but I feel like I can't enroll for an MBA program because most institutions won't recognize UOP as a legitimate education

Graduated from UOP with a BAED in 2014 and to this day, I'm unable ti find work in any school district nor receive any phone calls to interview. I suspect that UOP has taken more loan dollars than required. I'm over 50k in debt and now I feel I cannot move forward with my dreams of earning my master's degree because of the debt. The teaching license I have earned has proven to be worthless. Please forgive all student loan debt and hold Appollo/UOP responsible for the debt.

Unfortunately the name UOP has not opened any doors for me. I will not disclose the school on a resume, and since 2009, I have not even had a chance for an interview. Competitiontion is fierce out there, and to boot I owe over 70,000 in student loans for a psychology degree!

I attended UoP for 3 years, almost finished my program for a bachelors in Elementary Education. I heard things on the news about UoP not being accredited and that they were scamming students. I contacted my financial advisor immediately and asked her if what I heard was true, she said "well at the moment we aren't accredited, but we are in the process of fixing that." I immediately left the school knowing that I was going to be in debt for most of my life. I wasted 3 years at this school in hopes of becoming a teacher. I cried many tears, struggled on many assignments and tests, and was caused so much stress, only to find out I wouldn't have even been able to find a job in the end. So now I'm back in school, have even more loans to pay off, and I'm still working the same hourly job I was working before. I also had to move out of my apartment because I wasn't able to afford it since I didn't have a degree and had an extremely hard time finding a decent paying job without a one. All I wanted was to better myself and continue my education so that my future family would be successful and I couldn't do that with this school. Now I'm stuck with $23,000 in loans. This school promised success and guaranteed jobs after graduation with assistance if finding a job was difficult. I'm so glad I left before getting further into debt. I feel sorry for the students who obtained a degree and still can't find a job years later. So much time, energy, and effort wasted. Something needs to be done!

I been unable to utilize my degree from UOP and almost 10 years later I'm still paying $39,000 in debt. There was no job assistance after graduating like I was told there would be and it seems people in the professional world don't recognize or even respect my MAED degree that I obtained because of the bad reputation of UOP. It oftentimes weighs against me to mention it on a job interview. I'm currently unemployed and starting over without any hope to obtain the promises that they advertised about getting better job opportunities.
