It's an unnecessary evil. It has no use. It's just intrusive and the only good it has, it just reminds us to check our smoke detectors. We can do that on our own. Going back and forth interferes with our daily living and businesses, not including, our health! -

Once the time changes this year (2017) on March 12, and the daylight hours become longer, please abolish the change. Longer daylight hours lead to healthier, happier, more productive people. Our agriculture also benefits to this change, more sunlight, more food growth. Business is also boosted when the days are long. Many people cannot drive at night, and for those poor souls trying to get everything done before dark, when darkness is at 4pm, is a harsh reality. Longer daylight hours also make it safer for school children, collage students, the elderly, and benefit everyone as a whole. It is safer for everyone, including the police, who can see crime happening much better when the daylight hours are long. It is a win win situation for all of us. Please consider abolishing the daylight savings time act. Let's keep to the light, for longer brighter days, for us all.REPORT COMMENTS

Please end DST, its a mess for computers and inconvenient for people too. And it's a useless waste of time and resources. We don't live in an agrarian society anymore, and the lights are on all day at work anyway no matter what the sun is doing -- so nothing is being saved by moving an hour around.REPORT COMMENTS

If people or companies need to use different schedules at different times of the year because they need dark or daylight, they can do it. The government doesn't need to force this on everyone.REPORT COMMENTS

Most of the rest of the world does not observe Daylight Saving Time. It is an antiquated practice which only serves to screw up peoples internal clocks. There are more car wrecks and on the job accidents due to Daylight Saving Time. The excuse of the farmers needing does not hold water as they have been against it from the start. Please end this madness and end Daylight Saving Time!REPORT COMMENTS

DST is a total waste of time and effort, it doesn't fix any of the things it's purported to address and in fact makes many things worse. Twice a year the news stories start spinning up reporting the studies that show it not only doesn't save energy at all, it increases health risk factors In the very best cases it's an unnecessary complication and annoyance, in the worst it indirectly costs lives.REPORT COMMENTS

End Daylight Saving time it is useless and an unnecessary disruption in people's already too-busy lives. Sleep is important and all DST does is mess up your normal sleeping habits. There's research that shows that there are more strokes and heart attacks in the couple of days around the transition leaping forward. Stop DST!REPORT COMMENTS
