World War 1 & 2 are over, farmers hate the DST and today in 2017 this is something that is outdated and needs to be changed back for the time of day to be consistent through the entire year. Maybe if we spend money fixing this, it will solve other financial problems.REPORT COMMENTS

Daylight saving time puts stress on our bodies, messes with our sleep cycles and generally causes havoc. Studies have shown a higher rate of heart attacks, car accidents etc after daylight saving takes effect. It's time to end this practice, we have electricity and lights to help us overcome darkness.REPORT COMMENTS

I suffer from depression and insomnia, badly. Setting the clocks back and forth makes me feel worse. There still being daylight at 9:00 p.m. and beyond makes me so much more depressed and then I have twice the trouble falling asleep. Please can we stop messing with the natural way of things? I feel infinitely better come November when we go back to the normal way of things.REPORT COMMENTS

It makes no sense! If we have to do daylight saving time for some inexplicable reason, at least wait until after Memorial day when many of the country's kids are out of school and fall back on labor day. It is hard enough to get my 7 year old son to go to sleep night when he would rather be playing, but when it is still light outside, it is virtually impossible! Has has to catch the bus at 7am so need him asleep at about 8pm. It is also still dark when he has to go to the bus when you spring forward!!!REPORT COMMENTS

Out dated, archaic system. It is dangerous for workers affected by it and costly to some industries. It must benefit politicians or it would have disappeared years ago.REPORT COMMENTS

I live in a state which is hot and sunny 10 months out of the year. I do not want an extra hour of daylight in the summer especially. I have to wait until a couple hours after the Sun goes down in the summer to even start to have a chance to do outdoor activities without being completely miserable. I would love to see daylight savings ended as fast as possible.REPORT COMMENTS

This is my second switch to DST since I retired. I have suffered through it for so many years, at least I don't have to go to work on Monday. I'm a morning person and have always hated it. It's much harder since Bush extended it based on the completely wrong rationale that it saved energy. I've seriously considered moving to AZ although that would be stupid financially for me in retirement. You'll get the same amount of daylight every day if you just get up when the sun rises. I get depressed and angry in the weeks before the change in the spring and the Sunday when we, finally, return to real time in the fall is the best day of the year.REPORT COMMENTS

The extra daylight after work is a big enhancement to everyday life. Getting dark before 8:00 will result in a huge loss. Why not keep the clock forward 1 hour year round. We could then enjoy an extra hour in the winter. It is not about energy savings, it is about lifestyle.REPORT COMMENTS
