Please END this. Sleep loss and behavioral changes occurring with the time shifts for Daylight Savings Time (DST) significantly affect the number of fatal traffic accidents. I personally know of a case where a student was walking to school at 6:28 AM and was struck by a vehicle and killed. Children should not have to endure walking in the darkness to get their education. It is dangerous, period. Daylight Savings is outdated and unnecessary. http://www.bradenton.com/news/local/article138829468.htmlREPORT COMMENTS

I hate the time change.. we are suposed to have the sun completely down before we can sleep properly. It's a natural process of life incase no one understand's. We have a Schedule built around us on an agreed time to start the day by the the positioning of the son. Leave time where it is suposed to be and alter your own time with agreed proceedings in the day that you want for your self. Not a dictation of changing time to make things hurry up for the rest of us and that's realy what it's about. I agree with the burden it puts on children. It is a bad thing to do to them. Time was set and agreed on way before daylight savings time was invented. And it was invented for the east coast because that's where everything that was shipped in was early and the waters were calm that time of day etc. Now days it makes no diferance with our technolagy.Every sorce of life seems to be 24/7 and people are willing to live that. It's claimed that it saves enegy... hmm well I guess we turn off our lights earlier at nightand we park our cars earlier and we get off of the Internet earlier... and that's not realy true but people like enough night in there lives to enjoy the stars and the moon befor we go to bed and get that sense of of our creator... God I belive... has given us a security blanket for the rest of the night for a peaceful sleep. Try gazzing at the stars be for you go to bed and see if something is diferant on how you feel.. it's natural. We are suposed to have plenty of time for night and plenty of time in the morning for ourselves. Not without and that's exactly what daylight savings time takes away. It's useles and unatural. No more time change for me.REPORT COMMENTS

Sorry....I love daylight savings....DON'T CHANGE IT! It is no different than when the seasons change from winter to summer, rain to sun. People need to grow up and get over the fact that they "can't adjust." Just something else for people to complain about.REPORT COMMENTS

Daylight Saving Time is a practice born at a time when we did not live in a global, 24/7 economy. Today, we do business at all hours and worldwide, and changing the clocks disrupts business. Lost production, accidents, and health issues have been well documented. I understand the benefits of DST. I know many people who prefer having the clocks set forward for more evening daylight. That is fine, depending on where one lives (such as the dividing line between time zones), but whatever time works best should be set permanently. Please end the practice of moving the hands on the clocks twice annually.REPORT COMMENTS

I agree with not messing with our schedules! I work in a high school and I see how it affects our students for weeks which is a big concern since we have senior students who need to be on top of their game to make it through the year to graduate. Even my dog has been thrown off his schedule! Anyway please let nature take it's course and leave the clocks alone. ThanksREPORT COMMENTS
