The wild horses are beautiful to behold--and very entertaining to watch! I suggest members of Congress spend time observing these amazing creatures in their natural habitat (or what little of it remains). Act now, while there's still time.REPORT COMMENTS

There are 5 protected herds where I live - our association fights to keep it that way. If there was not such high demand for beef, the ranchers would not have the backing to take over more and more of our public lands to raise their cattle. Think of that everytime you order a steak or a hamburger.REPORT COMMENTS

We lived in Northern Nevada for 10 years and totally enjoyed seeing the wild horses (or what was left of them). The wild horses & burros are part of Nevada's history. Don't kill that off too!! There are plenty of people willing and able to help those wild animals. The BLM turns a blind eye because of the big business ranchers. Shame on them!!!REPORT COMMENTS

Wild mustangs and other animals are being removed, captured, shot, all to satisfy the ever-greedy pockets of big businessmen. Wild horses are a pride for our country; shame on all of us.REPORT COMMENTS

My tax dollars should not be spent on murdering helpless wildlife so that ranchers can create more beef for slaughter. I protest! The methodoloiges are disgusting and reprehensible and the data not clear nor sufficient to support the rounduup and slaughter.REPORT COMMENTS

The horses are being killed, or sent to slaughter for consumption, to give the land to ranchers for free cattle grazing. The beef lobby, animal "farming" advocates and profiteers are behind the government abuse of a national treasure, the wild mustangs. This is inhumane, diabolical treatment of innocent animals.REPORT COMMENTS

I do not want my tax dollars going towards this cruel, in humane treatment of these beautiful creatures. Please stop these horrific roundups now, allow these animals to live on the land as nature intended. They have as much right to graze as the cattle do, these ranchers desires should be put first and only to make more money. I beg you to respect their right to live freely and with dignity.REPORT COMMENTS
