This is insane as to what is happening. Inhumane, cruel and the loss of the true American Icons. I cannot believe our government is so intent on a genocide of these animals. You disagree with everything including the good things Madeline Pickens is trying to achieve. Anyone in office today will definately not receive a vote from me in the future here in Nevada or an elected official. There are so many other issues that need attending to in today's economic situations. STOP the roundups Please!

I am asking to please stop the inhumane actions of these round ups. I feel so helpless about the extinction of the Wild Horse and Ken Salazar will not stop at anything to have privatize cattle on the land. Please leave our Nations Treasure alone. They have Exsisted hundreds of years without the BLM. Thank You

I will admit that I am not fully versed in the whole situation but I would not support any inhumane treatment of animals, including the tactics of the 'round-up.' I certainly would hope the Pickens offer is taken. Isn't there a way to re-distribute the animals to a different location?? If this land belongs to all of us, my input should count for something and I think there should be a way to allow all of these animals to exist successfully without the need for round-ups, deaths, babies becoming separated from their mothers, etc. Thank you.

I don't understand why the Horses have to be destroyed or injured because people have to be cruel to the. Like I have said before they can nbot defend thier selve against humans. How would animal abusers were hunted and destroyed or injured because people think they are in the way and need to get rid of them. I don't believe they would like it very much. There is alot things that need attention, but when it comes to helping inocent animals to stay alive then somethings that are not to much that need attention can be put off to the side. There is no excuse for it. And those who don't think they need to help and they want other things to be done before the Horses can be taken care should be fired. Everyone should get involved. So let's deal with this problem. And save the Horses from destruction.

IF you have to round up the horses and burrows, do it the the way it has been done many years ago, you will save more lives. use horses to round up the horses, makes more sence.

We cannot continue to consider ourselves the moral authority ont he planet as long as barbaric acts like this are stopped! Americans should hang their heads in shame. You have the power to stop such a horrid treatment of one of our National Treasures. Please give us back hope, trust and respect in our government by doing the right thing.

Please explain to me Why people have to be so unkind, irresponsible and cruel? What thrill, what joy, what orgasmic pleasure do these people get out of these practices? Is treating animals unkindly so exciting, so enticing and so profitable that they can persuade the politicians including the President of the United States to share in their misguides beliefs, or is the love of money and the offices that the money buys more important than the lives of these innocent creatures? What you do today will affect what you will be doing tomorrow.

These horses have taken care of THEMSELVES for hundreds of years. Nature has a way of working it self out if left alone. PLEASE stop THIS EXTERMINATION OF THE WILD HORSES. THEY ARE PART OF A DELICATE ECO SYSTEM. I STRONGLY OPPOSE THIS EXTINCTION.

We sent thousands of emails about the wild horses. We want them put back. The BLM is lying about the reasons for the roundups. They are fencing the horses from the water! Please stop the roundups NOW please

The BLM is wasting valuable taxpayer dollars using old and outdated information. Their roundups are cruel to say the least. The public is sick of government agencies ignoring common sense and decency. I for one, do not believe anything coming from this agency. They have lost all credibility and it is time this agency was given a complete overhaul.

Enough is enough already. One day I want to be able to see herds of wild horses FREE. I don't want to see them languishing in corrals. How many more horses have to die before these insane round ups end? Equine or not, these are LIVES you are destroying.

Dear Mr. President Obama, I am so upset over the BLM being allowed to continue to round up our wild mustangs!! even without an actual number!! i do not believe their are that many left in the wild!! do you know there are more in holding pens then in the wild? 40,000 that i heard!!! at us taxpayers expense!!! why do you all want to allow blm to get millions of our tax dollars to do something we are against? quit using all that money on rounding up more horses ! leave them be! taking them off of their own ranges and putting cattle in there place is just plain wrong!! blm says the land can't sustain wild mustangs but can sustain thousands more cattle? we are not that stupid!! stop the blm now!! this is so overdue blm must stop this massacre of our wild horses, and no we don't want horse slaughter plants to reopen in the united states!! horses are not meant to be eaten by humans!! i really am disappointed in this goverment for letting blm and the cattle industry barons to be able to get away with whatever they want to! such ashame!!madeleine pickens should be allowed to help these innocent souls since our own goverment doesn't seem to give a damn. i am so sick of the blm being abel to do whatever they want ,without any proof or correct numbers of how many are left in the wild.what does wild mean to you? to me means without human interference!!!
