If you have men who will exclude any of God's creatures from the shelter of compassion and pity, you will have men who will deal likewise with their fellow men.??Francis of Assisi ?Not to hurt our humble brethren is our first duty to them, but to stop there is not enough. We have a higher mission?to be of service to them wherever they require it.??Francis of Assisi ?Animals are God?s creatures. He surrounds them with his providential care. By their mere existence they bless him and give him glory. Thus men owe them kindness. We should recall the gentleness with which saints like St. Francis of Assisi or St. Philip Neri treated animals.??Catechism of the Catholic Church ?Animals are God's creatures, not human property, nor utilities, nor resources, nor commodities, but precious beings in God's sight?Christians whose eyes are fixed on the awfulness of crucifixion are in a special position to understand the awfulness of innocent suffering. The Cross of Christ is God's absolute identification with the weak, the powerless, and the vulnerable, but most of all with unprotected, undefended, innocent suffering.?? Reverend Andrew Linzey ?Animals have done us no harm and they have no power of resistance.?There is something so very dreadful?in tormenting those who have never harmed us, who cannot defend themselves, who are utterly in our power.??Cardinal John Henry Newman ?Animals, as part of God?s creation, have rights which must be respected. It behooves us always to be sensitive to their needs and to the reality of their pain.??Dr. Donald Coggan, former Archbishop of Canterbury Remember this, and Obama, can you face your girls and tell them you allowed all the Mustangs to be slaughtered?

These roundups are not only cruel but are driving what's left of our wild horses and burros to extinction. We want our children to know what these wonderful and wild animals are.

with over 40,000 horses in holding. thousands and thousands of american tax paying citizens begging you for a response. billionares wives buying land, vets and scienctists and advocates working for free 24\7 to come up with a humane solution, you still dont listen or respond????what kind of open door policy is this? we can talk but no one listens, just like before? i was so excited for this group to be in the white house, but now i see its the same old, behind closed doors good ol' boys club it always was, and we the rest of america is left having our public lands stolen, our precious symbols of freedom, and the wild west dragged off these lands in the most inhumane and costly ways possible, to make the land grab for energy keep chugging along. shame on you! its amazing evryone else in the country knows you cant trust a contractor to protect whats important to you, its the nature of the job to get as much money as quick as possible before the job ends. and yet for living creatures nobody is allowed to watch or monator whats being done except the very people who dont care. as i said before thousands and thousands of people really savy people are willing to give what ever it takes to make things better and still thats not good enough. it would be nice if you could just man up and lay the cards on the table and work with science and advocates tgether with the BLM and really help to move america and our precious wild lands and wild creatures into a place of health and balance.

The horses are supposedly rounded up to protect them but in the process many are tramatized and die. Then the remaining ones are taken and put in small pens. What kind of protection is that???? These are wild animals and they should be allowed to roam freely. Helicopter scare them to death! It seems that the real reason to round them up is to secure the land for mining, which is much more profitable to the government and their freinds, but is not being admitted. Natural selection will take care of overpopulation if it becomes an issue and in the meantime the BLM should stay out of it all together!!

There is no reason to roundup our wild horses the icon and horses of The United States Of AMERICA. The BLM, President Obama and Ken Salazar are doing this to bring cattle in on the land that was put there for the wild horses to live on. How dare these BARBARIC monsters fence drinking holes so the horses have no water to drink? they know if there is no water they will die. It is an outrage that continues to go on. These horses are penned up, murdered and abused, sent to mexico to slaughter. IS THIS THE AMERICAN WAY, BARBARISM OF THE INNOCENT? wELL IF IT IS IT STINKS AND ALL SHOULD BE FINED AND JAILED FOR WHAT THIS ORGANIZATION IS DOING TO THE INNOCENT HORSES AND FOALS THAT THEY ARE KILLING AND MAMING.

This is a disgrace-this country was built on the backs of horses and i grew up with them-they are intelligent and loving and have emotions just like we do. Please stop this senseless killing.

I think that the cruel round up of the mustangs needs to be stopped , many are killed in the process, I also think that horse slaughter needs to be banned too. Is there not a safer way to round them up instead of brutally murdering them. Don't you think that by rounding them up the way that you do traumatizes the horses. First you run them half dead, horses that have had little or no contact with people. Don't you think that there would be an easier way that when the potential adopters come to adopt them they don't have to deal with a traumatized animal that is going to be harder to work with. Don't you think that these animals deserve to be treated with the respect and honor that they deserve. HORSES helped pave the way to civilization. Some of those mustangs ancestors helped do that, I think that there has got to be a better and safer way to do the round ups. PLEASE STOP THE CRUELTY.

Please don't take the wild horses away, let's find a them a way to stay. If there iis food and water for cattle, that men brought in many years latter, then use my land. federal land is mine and other tax payers land.. I want wild horse on my land not some rancher cattle free ranging and the horse being driven to death. Safe the Wild horses and don't do roundup that is keeping job of indviduals at BLM. Step back and look at the horses and their need not what lobbiest want and dollars dan buy. Safe the Horses. Anyone that thinks roundup is the right thing to do, should be put out to run 30-100 miles at run for you life speed and see how well they make it, and run them into a pen the size of a closet no light would be fair so they won't understand what is happening. This is animal curality and we have law to protect, if an individual did someting this cural as is done in roundup they would do jail time. Please, the land is there, it just isn't being managed fairly. Save our wild horses, I want my grandchildren to see them, to read about that they were at one time 1000''s running frre here.

This just has to end. there are people that will willingly take these horses and rehab them. There us absolutely no reason they have to be rounded up using helocopters... They are causing distress, not to mention injuries and deaths of these majestic horses. Please take action soon! Thanks for your assistance.
