I have a 2 year old son named Deonta aka DJ. I had him in St.Louis,MO I was falsely accused of abandonment because I went with my mom when I wasn't supposed to (I was in Missouri state custody at the time,I was 15) and my son was in the NICU because of breathing problems and when the hospital was ready to release my son my mom wouldn't bring me back into the state so I was charged with abandonment. I went to a police station and was able to get transported back to the states custody to a foster home where I fought and fought to get my son back. But there is no end once they have your kids its hard to get them back. I'm 18 now and I signed over my rights in April because my sons preadoptive parents said if I took them through trial and was terminated involuntarily that they "wouldn't feel comfortable" with letting me keep contact.Open adoption is not legal in missouri. I want my son back i can't see him or anything all I get is pics and info but I want my baby in my arms.I live in chicago,IL now and I am in school,looking for a job and my son has myself andfamily on his dad's side who were not even aware of him being in custody. My son's grandma is a nurse with no record and its not right that not only can I not get my son back or see him but neither can family.REPORT COMMENTS

My son was taken from me less than a week after he turned 8 (october 14th 3013) its Been almost a year that my son was torn away from him mom and dad., the state took the word of a repeat offender...a well known criminal. ..over the facts they showed up one day saw my son, and 2 weeks later they came back with the police. ..I had to look my baby boy in the face and tell him he had yo go with these people while he cried to me "mommy I dont wanna go"! I promised my son he would come home...I did everything u was asked. Recently I have not been made aware of meetings and or court hearings... last week the courts handling my case terminated my rights to my son!! I haven't spoke to my son in months. I wish the state would do an extensive background check on the people who make allegations cps. There are s many children who are beaten and neglected everyday amd cps does nothing. They go after "young parents" I believe, rather than the dead beat parents who beat, neglect, and starve their kids who dont deserve to be parents. I know what foster parents are like. I was placed in a foster home a week before my 13th bday. ..my foster home was aweful...the husband wad physically abusive towards me he would beat me with the buckle end of a belt...neither one of them would let me or my sister carry our dads picture around...oh an our 2 older brothers were separated.I think parents like tthe the ones on here should Have the chance to reinstate their parental rights!!!REPORT COMMENTS

my rice were illegally terminated I have not seen my children for years I do not know where they are I can I get no help I am a homemaker out of 5 kids I only have 2my baby's fatherabused me and I was sent to prison behind his his deeds he abused my children my mother then went to pick them up to keep them for me and my baby's father filed a false police report which no charges were ever brought up against him for kidnapping they remove my children out of my house and sold them to people I do not know I get no contact I have no idea where they are I'm lost does anybody have a heart out there please help my mother that only knows how to be a mother get back her children so that move on with her life and forgive herselfno action has been taken against my baby's father he is free while incarcerated he did not show up to court to claim our kids and so they went into the system where they got sold not put with family members Kansas is not about the safety in the betterment of the children if they were why are my children with family members that they know and grow up withif Kansas is about the betterment of the children why do they not get to see their mother I'm not a crack addict drug user or an alcoholic but all of those kind of mothers can get their kids back and I can't even see or know where mines at please please help a desperate though trying to take it day by day knowing her babies are out there somewhere hopefully being taught righteous ways and God fearing love please helpREPORT COMMENTS

I lose my rights based off of what the mother of my child did and was tricked by TFI family services and The state of Kansas by not letting me know my rights! I lost my daughter for no recorded reason. I have 1 more child and another on the way that are well taken care of. There is no reason why i should not have my 15 year old. courts are nothing but trouble. they take kids away from homes where they are taken care of, but the kids that are actually being abused are left in the home to die. then they tell the parent to do classes multiple times or put impossible task for the parent to do then when it's not done the parent is punished . many times the court will won't communicate with the parent but instead of owning up to their mistake it's taken out on the parent. kids should be with their parents shouldn't be up to some money hungry judge or attorney real evidence needs to be shown, if the kids are old enough I think they should be able to decide also this government is so corrupt this is crazyREPORT COMMENTS
