I believe conjugal visits should be allowed in mo prisons, when ur spouse is in prison it puts a strain an hardship on your family. Their in prison because they broke they law an their paying their debt to society, but its not just affecting, hurting them its hurting the whole family most of the time it breaks the family up. Conjugal visits would strengthen the family bond an make them closer plus give them an incentive to do better so they can have conjugal visits, return home to their wives, children, etc also by allowing conjugal visits it relieves stress, tension on the prisoner in which I agree and believe would decrease violence while their in prison. Just because their incarcerated doesn't mean their not loved an missed by their families and children by not allowing these kind of visits are making the children and family pay for something they had nothing to do with. I urge an pray that you would allow congujal visits in mo prisons.

conjucal visits are very much needed in Missouri. The benefits for the inmates as well as the families are tremendous, not to mention it would help the prison system as well. Children would benefit from the extended, more personal time they would get with their incarcerated parent. Spouses would be able to concemate their marriage (for those that married in the prison system) and maintain a healthier relationship/marriage. There would be less violence in the prison, inmates would follow prison rules in order to reach the incentive of family time, it would cut back on homosexuality, and contraband, because the inmate wouldn't want to hurt their chances of recieving their family time. It would also benefit the prison system because i believe spouses would be willing to pay a reasonable amount in order to recieve a family visit, (if the money to provide the conjucal visit housing is an issue for the state. Conjucal visits in Missouri would be very beneficial to all.

WE NEED CONJUGAL VISITS!! ESPECIALLY THOSE WHO ARE RAISING CHILDREN ON THEIR OWN DUE TO THE FACT ONE PARENT IS IN PRISON!! ...WE NEED THIS TO PASS SO FAMILIES CAN STAY CONNECTED AND INMATES WILL BE ABLE TO SEE FIRST HAND THAT THEY HAVE LOVED ONES TO COME HOME TO! CONGRESS WE ARE ASKING YOU TO PASS THIS....JUST BECAUSE ONE IS INCARCERATED DOES NOT MEAN HE IS NOT LOVED BY PEOPLE ON THE OUTSIDE! FAMILIES SHOULD NOT HAVE TO SUFFER!!!

I believe these visits would be a great incentive to the inmates and would cut down on violence. Also for those of us who are married and choosing to stand by and support our spouses we should not have to be punished.

I think that these types of visit will help keep the bond between inmate and spouse together. It would help mentally, emotionally, and physically while they are apart.

We are supporting the idea of conjugal visits in our Missouri State prisons to those who are incarcerated. Private time should be allow to keep the marriage stronger while apart.

I do believe that conjugal visits would hold the bond between husband, wives, their children, and family members.
