Personally i think they should be shut down and i agree they are only out to make money off of children and which is not right. Im goin thru there crap my two children were taken from their mother who had custody of both i was only able to see one of my boys for 3 hours a month then they got taken by dcfs in july of 2012 here it is the middle of jan 2013 and they are tryin to adopt both of my boys out already they are sayin im a dangerous person and a bunch of bs i have to have law enforcement or security they are goin way overboard they cannot prove anything but i care and love my boys but they are more worried about me bein dangerous the assigned social worker Kimberly A Bestrom in the Aberdeen, Washington office does not work with me @ all does not hardly return phones calls she lies in my ISSP which i would consider a legal document.. THE DEPT NEEDS TO BE INVESTIGATED FAST AND ESPECIALLY THE ABERDEEN, WASHINGTON OFFICE. THANK YOU!!!!REPORT COMMENTS

I was a foster parent for ten years and was treated very poorly by the state after my divorce form a sexually, mentally, emotionally abusive man. My exhusbands and his wife have had 7 CPS refferals against them and they get away with it every time because he has money and a nice house. Often my children are not even interviewed. You would think these workers would recognize a sociopath when they see one. My children suffer my ex and his wife get validated and I am left in heart ache and pain when i cant help my own kids.REPORT COMMENTS

I am graduating in the spring with a degree in Human Services. I live in Mt. Vernon, WA. There is some grossly corrupt case workers at our DCFS. There are also some who want to do a good job. My interests is in advocacy and I firmly believe that the family of the child should be represented in the meetings with DCFS. I also think that DCFS needs a checks and balances position. We are playing power struggles with our future in some circumstances. If anyone can help me to write a grant proposal to Olympia or wherever it needs to go, I am ready to stand for Parent's God Given Rights. I have just learned tonight that dcfs has taken my great grandson away from his parents. He was injured in a mild auto accident and the doctor and dcfs are saying this child is in danger if left with his parents. How can they have the power to judge if they are good or bad parents based on one accident. After a complete body scan and many tests they could find nothing to indicate child abuse. How can we stop them from ruining family lives like this? My great grandson is fine and healthy and no sign of any injury, can these doctors be making these things up? If I could afford a fair defense attorney, I have no doubt that I could bring heat on region 4 for conspirecy and prove conflict of interest with councel chosen for me .My daughter is now living with her father who physically and sexually abused me. Even.serving jail time for nearly one year,and he is abusing her still,CPS continuesly warned the abuser of my concern and admitted in ftc their mistaking my ua for being dirty,two months later in court. the cseworker(s) never investigated the fathers past dv.vusca's,assult,burgurley,fta's,lying to law enforsement, attemted arson,etc,But redeemed their halo by publicly appologizing to me in open court for their "honest"malpractice. they never have corrected my file. which I requested.I have so much evidence- based material . I had a terrible time with the Spokane CPS department (Teresa Stone and supervisories). My niece was placed in foster care without any attempt to find someone in the family to take her. I even called the department on the day she was taken and was told I could not have her. Yes, she was taken away for a reason, and a lot of my family members did have problems with the law and CPS, but I did not. I was never in trouble for anything and have 5 (now 6) beautiful children of my own. I was completely judged by what others had done, and had to go through a lot of hoops to adopt my niece, which I did on 5/17/2011!!!:) First of all I was not allowed to know where she was or have any contact with her. I only found out where she was, because I happened to be friends with the foster father that got her and he had a picture of my kids at his house, which my niece recognized. They called me right away and told me that CPS had already started the adoption proceedings with them. Then we started talking about how they ended up with her since they didn't even have any other foster kids. They told me they were friends with the foster previous foster mom, and she knew they wanted to adopt, so when my niece was causing her a lot of trouble, she took her other there one night and dropped her off, and thats where she stayed. THEY CAN DO THAT????? I called Teresa's supervisor very upset and finally got to at least try to adopt her. Second crappy thing they did was say that I had a negative entry on my background check. They could not or would not tell me what it was. I know I had not been in trouble for anything, not even a speeding ticket. After going to another supervisor I was finally sent a copy of my negative act. IT WAS A TICKET FOR MY DOG GOING TO THE POUND. !REALLY! They kept her away from her family because our dog dug out of the yard. I hope someone does realize that children are really getting hurt by this stuff. I know many people are not capable of taking care of their kids and someone should step in, but for whatever strange reason they are trying to keep kids out of families is beyond me. My niece is with her family, and doing fantastic. I only hope they didn't cause to much damage to her emotionally.REPORT COMMENTS

They stole my daughter almost 2 yrs ago and just last week they took away my parental rights. There has been nothing but lies and deceit going on. There was only allegations that were told by the paternal relatives and now that is who they placed her with against my wishes. Now they are adopting her and won't let me even see her or talk to her. I was NEVER a BAD mom!! I love my little girl more than anything in this world! I feel so lost! Isn't my job in life to protect my family?
