I do not think the security measures put in place to vet Syrian families before entry to the U.S. are inadequate. I think we need to keep up the humanitarian policy to allow Syrians to enter America. making sure we take a closer look at the process along the way and correcting any problems there may be. I also think America need to take a harder look at the gun laws of our nation. because we more at danger with the current laws to a terrorist or other attacks from our own citizens then we are from innocent refugees. I also think we need to take a closer look at the visa policies for CITIZENS from other countries that are wavered. The policies for dignitaries and business's are fine to be wavers so long as they are legitimate entities. but wavers of personal citizens visas are careless and dangerous. because you can not tell if that citizen who's visa was wavered is a radicalized terrorist or if they wish to do harm to innocent American citizens. To deny innocent refugees sanctuary from the same terrorist threats we face and to force them no place to go but back to the terrorists. is to ask the most vulnerable among them the young children to harden there heart towards those who would not protect them. and make it easier for groups like Daesh to radicalize them and turn them into tomorrows terrorists. To accept them you are canceling out the false message the terrorist have told them. that no other country care about them or will accept and protect them. Our humanity is the biggest defense we have against the terrorist ability to recruit members. and to deny our humanity is to accept the terrorists message. And to show Syrian citizen and children that DAESH was right. IS DAESH RIGHT IS THERE NO ONE BUT DAESH THAT WILL PROTECT INNOCENT SYRIAN TENDER MINDS OF CHILDREN.AND FEARFUL HEARTS OF THERE PARENTS. if they are correct the throw up your hands now because we are dammed when these children get older. think from hundred there will be thousands. from thousands there will millions all believing the lies told them by Daesh. the lies you have made true with your inhumanity and bigotry. Is this truly what you are looking forward to and hoping for.

We cannot let our fear lead us. Those that seek refuge flee from our enemies. We cannot hide ourselves behind locked doors. Christ looks down on us with pity and sorrow. We must show compassion to those in need without fear.

If a member of Congress asserts that life begins at conception, how can he say it ends at the border? It is cowardly hypocrisy.

We're a Christian nation of 300,000,000 people and we helped 249 of these people. Germany helped 800,000 this year alone. That's a total immoral embarrassment for this country!

We cannot turn our backs on these people in crisis. I also have immediate concerns about our homeless and our war veterans needing care and shelter. We are the wealthiest country in the world. No one should be without basic needs. Healthy food and clean water, shelter, clothing. Let's start there. Now.

As a nation getting involved militarily in Syria, it is our moral responsibility to help the Syrian refugees in need.

All of us were settlers in the US by people who were migrants seeking a better life. To judge all by the actions of the few is a slippery slope. Just ask a cop about public opinion of them right now. Let us watch over our communities as compassionate and gracious neighbors not fearful bigots. Our Marines work too hard for our country to give into fear.
