Please let this family seek closure to such a traumatic event and bring justice to those that may have contributed to his untimely death if the forensics evidence points to a homicide instead of suicide. The Marine Corps should be standing for justice and not attempting to "save face". from petition: "Repeatedly, she has extended the olive branch to the offices and individuals in a position to allow her case to be heard and repeatedly she has been denied that right. The American people who are signing this petition want this surviving military family to have their day of justice. Colonel Stahlman was one of the most dedicated marines there has ever been. He put everything he had into the marines and then some. He loved his country and was prepared to die for it, but what has been done to his name is a dishonor that should never have happened. It is time that his name is cleared and that justice is served.
