It has so many medical uses to it I think it should have never been made illegal. I think if it was legal most of the other drugs that has taken over our country will slowly disappear.Jul 10th, 2016Someone from Grand Forks, ND signed.

If alcohol is legal, then cannabis has to be legal. Alcohol is a thousand times deadlier than marijuana. And its ridiculous that you cannot obtain jobs because of occasionally using marijuana. You can even be banned from a federal government job forever if you test positive.REPORT COMMENTS

If cannibus is legalized Noone should be limited to 7 grams a month, I think you should only be allowed to carry 7 grams at a time in public at the least. I had once consumed an ounce or more a day at one point in time for years, and it helped me to focus and maintain a healthy lifestyle. Since refraining from such uses due to stigmatizations and biases from those who know not of its benefits. I have declined socially as well as physically. If cannibus were legalized more helpful uses could be discovered providing more sources of government funding enabling them to better provide more funding by the income generated from the taxes recieved. I know this is the best decision for America and most can agree....REPORT COMMENTS

It is absurd that marijuana is illegal and a schedule 1 drug. There are proven health benefits. Even the US government has a patent on marijuana (THC). It can easily be found on google. Pretty damn hypocritical. Obviously, cigarettes, most food found in the grocery stores as well as fast food, alcohol, adderall hydrocodone, and other worse pharmaceutical drugs are far more dangerous and addictive than marijuana. It is a shame that so many people are punished and thrown away in jail/prison for days, weeks, and years and their lives ruined for anything related to marijuana. Marijuana is a plant not a drug. I don't think anyone, especially the corrupt government, should have the right to tell me what I can or can not put in MY body. RISE UP!!! We need to take control of our lives and stop letting "them" control us.REPORT COMMENTS

alcohol is legal. just think about that. it's obviously so much more dangerous to us. the people. so clearly it's all about the money. not about the concern for our safety and well being as humans. it's a blatant slap in the face to the American people.REPORT COMMENTS

I suffer from insomnia. At any given time I've likely only had 1 to 2 hours of sleep a night. This has gone on for days or weeks till I get so exausted I barely know what's going on. I've used rx's like Ambien or Oct meds and they all either so nothing or make me sleep walk / eat. I can will and do use canibis to alliveate the issue, but because its federally illegal I can still be denied a job even though its seen as medicine. I should NOT have to worry about testing positive for medical marijuana when I am doing everything in my power to follow my states laws.REPORT COMMENTS

medical benefits alone are a just cause for legalization , But also there is Americans living in terror in states like Indiana. If they get caught they can lose their kids, get police pointing guns and arresting them. For doing what other Americans are fully aloud to do. "after 911 we stood as 1 . In the case of marijuana we get divided". I'm the second James Meredith in history wanting to be treated as an equal in a country based on its united ways.REPORT COMMENTS

I saw a video, watch a girl have a seizure activity and was given cannabis she stopped seizure activity, I've had spine surgery I'm in pain all the time, also bi polar manic depressive, I've gone and moved to where it was legal, and let me tell you I as thanking Jesus, thanking that sweet man for giving upon us this plant, to help us, it truly does work, please legalize, please free up our prisons from those over marijuana for more serious criminals to be locked away like meth dealing and user, crack dealing and users, let's honestly clean up the drugs off our streets the seriousness of meth and crack on our streets is effective way of people's living and safety, our streets are being cleaned up, busting marijuana users for what? All they do is eat, sleep and leave people alone, but meth and crack users and dealers steal from us, take lives, creating so much danger and crime on our streets and they getting away with it cause no room in jails or prisons for them cause the marijuana is considered a drug and illegal, fix this problem and take Christianity out of the suggestion box against marijuana, I'm a Christian and in the Bible Jesus says I give you a plant with seeds, flowers, food, utilize this opportunity, war on drugs is meth and crack not marijuana,REPORT COMMENTS

Safer than alcohol, will promote economic growth, and can be used medicinally as opposed to pills. My best friend died two years ago from too many prescription pills. He was prescribed pills that have a bad reaction when taken together. He was pleagged with pain and the only thing that alleviated his pain was marijuana but he could not use marijuana medicinally because he would lose his medical benefits. I was heart broken to lose my friend and for his children to lose their father at such a young age all because he had no natural way to relieve the pain.REPORT COMMENTS
