I am the grandmother of a 3 month old little girl named Giavonna. She was taken from my home by CPS a month ago. The CPS worker even went as far as bringing the metro police to my door. This CPS worker is named Kimberly Gipson-Brooks. She is a liar and is so corrupt, as is the DA who listens to all of her lies. Before she took my beautiful granddaughter she said "oh, she was very well taken care of" and took her. We were given no information as to anything. i was called home from work and we were told that if we went to have our fingerprints and background checks at this very moment, we would have her back in 24 hours. Guess what.....they lied. So, they tell me I have not protected my granddaughter and that I am not looking out for her best interest. I don't understand how they can take a baby out of a safe and loving home??? How do they get away with it?? I can understand that people abuse/neglect their kids, but not in my home. I have contacted everyone i could think of and noone seems to be able to help. I had to hire a lawyer, they even lied in court and got AWAY WITH IT!!!!! So now, more hearings and more meetings with those liars. Whatever you do, keep your kids/grandkids close! Now, my granddaughter is with foster parents for no reason. I just don't understand...Who oversees CPS and how do they get away with all the lies???? HELP!REPORT COMMENTS

My name is Laura Collett; I am the grandmother of children who are in foster care. The children are ages 1 1/2 to 9 The case originated back in April of 2011; case number XXXX. I have remained active in the children?s lives since CPS convinced me to let them go to Heyworth, Ill. to live with the family where they are because it was closer and easier for the parents. I get a five hour visit the first Sunday of each month and a short phone call every Sunday at 7:00pm. Over time I have expressed several concerns that in my opinion were dismissed or not taken seriously but recently a situation arose that I found disturbing. On mm/dd/2011 my lawyer sent a letter to CPS addressing my concern about a male individual living in the foster home named Kirk. After this date I spoke with 2nd caseworker, Latoya Bell, and she told me that Kirk had been checked out. June of 2012 there was a pre court meeting with the parent, foster parent, counselors, and myself. During this meeting the foster parent Kim said the kids had began exhibiting sexual behaviors, once again I asked for Kirk to be checked out. During a phone call the following Monday with Michelle Rowell I was assured that his back ground would be looked at; this caseworker left the agency sooner after this. On July 24th, 2012 it came out in court that Kirk was residing in the home and everyone acted surprised. Kim the foster parent indicated that Kirk had moved that morning. On August 5th, 2012 I had my visit with the kids and Kirk was still residing in the home and the children indicated they were told not to talk about it. Once again my lawyer sent a letter asking for a back ground check on Kirk, and we still have not received a response. Kirk has often been known to watch the kids while the foster parent is away or take them places without the foster parent present. On August 26th, 2012 I was made aware that my grand children have been exposed to a convicted sex offender, Billy Freyberger, who still has to remain registered in Delaware where he committed his offence. My 6 yr old granddaughter often spends the night with Kim?s daughter Victoria who resides with this individual; Kim has told me herself that Alexis was at Victoria?s spending the night when I have called for my Sunday evening calls. The other children have also been allowed to go places with, and, spend the night with Victoria and Billy. Billy also cuts the boys hair. My fear is that the foster parent does not place a high value on my grandchildren?s safety and they are at risk in her custody. It is rare that I get a return call when I leave a voicemail for a case worker at CPS, with the exception of Michelle. T.K. Watson has never returned a call; her supervisor returned one call for a speaker type conference call and T.K. was present. I am forced to do all my correspondence through my lawyer who writes letters, and still we do not get a response. I understand that Billy Freyberger has completed his legal obligation of registeringREPORT COMMENTS

CPS in Arizona has violated two state statutes from a case that occured 15 years ago and was dropped by them, now they took my daughters 3 children from her a placed them with paternal grandparents who have known drug convictions and guns in their home, I am outraged that they are not supervised by other agencies to ensure they aren't breaking laws themselves. I will be filing a lawsuit against them for violating my rights and the two Arizona state statutes they have erroneously ignored.REPORT COMMENTS

CPS in my area currently abuse their power, there needs to be another department in place to properly police CPS and their actions. Staten Island Family Court is corrupt. They are destroying my life and my children lives. Ive did everything what the court told me to do. Than this judge allowed ACS and CPS to falsified documents.Than made me served five days in Rikers Island because me and the father wouldn't sign there papers.Judge MCElrath told me that I'm lucky his giving back my freedom. Can't nobody tell him what to do in his courtroom.This judge plead me guilty for neglect and I've never neglect my children. This same judge is under investigation . Than my case went to a next judge name MrsWolf inside her court Ms Wolf stated to me and my paid attorney at the time that she not touching this case because Terrace McELrath is breaking so many Federal laws and he keep remanding this lady kids for no reasoning. My case was transfer back to McELrath the judge told me that I had to agree with ACS and the agency Attorney I said no. The case got transferred again to a next judge FRANK Hoelldobler this judge stop my visit over hearsay.Than they transfer it to judge Lim which he in return verbally terminated my rights. Say that my children have a better relationship with the foster parents than us the father and birth mother.Ive did everything want this judges told me to do and still they violate my rights and take away my kids. Everyday I think about my kids if they safe if this people thanking good care of them,what I don't understand why they can't give them to my sister ,where trying to find help for my case. I would like to share my story, and see if you can assist me with saving me and my twin daughters from our recent Family Law devastation. My daughters are having nervous breakdowns on the phone during my phone time with them while they are with their father, and I do not know what to do....below is my story.... I am a mother of 5 year-old twin girls that have been in my care since birth. I am a graduate of Cornell University, and embarking upon a career in Law. On August 15, 2012 in Family Law Court at 111 North Hill street Judge Hofer alongside Minor's Counsel (Helen lee of Sherman & Di DAnto), and Father's attorney (Keith Lynch of Long Beach, CA) worked as a team to remove my 5 year-old twin daughters from my care and gave father full-custody after I have been pleading for physical custody for the past 2 years. I began to ask the courts for full-custody when my daughters came home expressing that they were being touched inappropriately, and always "sad at daddy's house." He has a history of abuse, works 12 hour days, and now my daughters are in the care of his 4th wife whom they just met one year ago, and who's mental state was never evaluated or considered. My twin daughters completed Kindergarten near my home, have adjusted, and are at the top of their class. They have been excelling in tennis, and reading; Father has not had them involved in any activities, nor does he have the capacity to care for them the same way I can given that he installs cable 12 hours a day. Yet the system gave him full/legal custody after paying into the system for the past 4 years. I strongly believe that evidence was tampered with, and that this was an act of criminal fraud on all of their parts. Both law firms are known to be PRO-FATHER, and are using a syndrome called "Parental Alienation Syndrome," to discredit me. This term holds no medical recognition, and was created by a team to label abusive fathers as the custodial parent. Father ultimately paid approximately $5,000.00 for a 730 report done by social worker Kevin Ford (long beach, CA) that labeled me guilty of PAS because my daughters told him in a series of private interviews that they "don't like daddy's house, and much rather live w/ mommy." I have documents proving I've tried to co-parent w/ the father, but he makes it impossible. The courts didn't weigh any of my evidence, and swept under the rug why my daughters are unhappy at his home. Both of my daughters verbalized this to Minor's Counsel, and the 730 evaluator who added this in his report. I am an outstanding Mother, I have no criminal background, or any substance abuse issues. My daughters are devastated, and I have to fight for JUSTICE. Judge Hofer found no validation in the allegations Father accused me of, but he used such things as me making "unilateral decisions" to give him custody despite my email documentation proREPORT COMMENTS

Allowing abuse of children and supporting the abuser, rather than the best interests of the child and their right to a decent and happy life with someone who loves them appropriately. P.C. s are part of this shameful corruption, destroying children's lives when they make decisions with proof to the contrary, that the child is being hurt by one parent and better off with the other. The "wronged" parent is not allowed any rights to protect their child for fear that their child will be taken from them totally and no parenting time allowed if they do not follow the PCs decision. Yes,they may appeal but during that time, the child continues to be harmed and they have to live with that and most likely won't win anyway since the judge almost always decides in favor of what the PC says.REPORT COMMENTS

We had a situation in Pasco County Florida with CPS, Judge William Webb and Eckert Youth and Family Alternatives. The Guardian Ad Litem and Case Worker for our granddaughter lied in court about our willingness to adopt our granddaughter, Judge William Webb believed them. Our attorney's motion to intervene was dismissed and we were never allowed to testify in Webb's court. Our granddaughter was adopted on March 23, 2012 by a woman who works for the Department of Juvenile Justice and who frequently appears before Webb. We spent thousands of dollars for attorneys, appeals, court transcripts and travel back and forth from New Jersey to Florida to no avail. It is widely known that the justice system in Florida is seriously flawed. How many familes have been destroyed by these people and what about the children who are put up for outsided adoption rather than being reunited with their parents or given over to their grandparents. This is akin to baby trafficking. Please help us get our granddaughter back!!!REPORT COMMENTS
