Our 16 yr old son was arrested and charged with 5 felony counts of abuse against our family. He was taken to jail. He began telling lies that his school molested him. Then said that we molested him. We were cleared of everything. We thought our son would recieve help in a youth program and return home a few weeks later. We are being forced to pay for his care and medical bills for therapy. We demanded our son be returned but he wants to punish us. He jokes about it in court. CPS says that although we are good parents (judge says, "Model Parents") our son doesn't have to go home if he doesn't want too. How can the state do this? Who is in charge, the child or the parent? We have 3 other children and the state is extorting us for nearly 1/3 of our income. We are not allowed to know anything about our sons care (we found out today that he was removed from his foster home nearly 2 mo ago and moved across the state.) and the state has done NOTHING to reunite our family. Our son refuses to do family counseling or see us. Why are we being punished when we are the victim? Why does the state allow a teenager to manipulate the system to punish his family? BTW: We were made to sign court papers that CPS wrote up that were falsified. They said this had to be done to recieve state funding for his care. -

The behaviors of corrupt, social workers, GAL's and Court Appointed Attorney's and Unfortunately some Judges. Judges need to do our people justice and give them their constitutional rights to speak and be heard. The System has no value to the people that need ii the most. The Classic Definition of "MUDA". A system so weighed down with complexity and inconsistancy, it causes confusion and a lack of accountibility. System after system put in place to correct the bahaviors caused by lack of understanding and clarity of the first system. Bandaid after bandaid , increasing the complexity and confusion, over and over more INSANITY! If you can not "see" the weakness in the system and bring clarity. The root cause stays buried, the very system that should support children and vunerable others is becomes the cruelest part of the process. Its not about pro-prosecution or pro- defense, at least not to me. Its about folks rights and applying and executing the law in a fair an equitable manner. Sadly you try and work with the SW and their direct leaders and the parties involved do not want to mitigate differences or address gaps in the process or stop something before it gets out of hand. The govenor office and they say call the AG, they got processes for that... The AG's office govern and represent the Department, the VGAL, attorneys for everybody. Really no kidding that's why I called you. However don't you represent the people of Washington state? Don't we elect our leaders to try and get our voices heard? The Ag said call the OFC they have a process for that... Call the Obudsman's office the got a process for that, weeks behind even with added resources? Why so busy? Think any of the bandaid processes you put in place actually have a fair shot of correcting the issue if you do not follow through consistantly. How you gonna hold folks in the process accountable when you can hold yourselves accountable. I'm excited a "new" FAR process/ council to address other processes/rules/laws the department won't follow. How FAR fetched is it? To think any thing is going to change and not do anything different. Bandaid of Insanity! The outwardly smug and public display of departmental unprofessional conduct public displayed in front of other community professionals. Openly displaying bad manners and first-hand withness of the abuse of power. Families are being forever destroyeding, children, elderly, veterans and vunerable folks in our communities. Our Washington state leader support gay rights and marriage. Why, is even to FAR out for me to figure when you won't enforce the rights we have. Stand up with your people for their rights or sit down and go home.REPORT COMMENTS

Orange county CPS kidnapped my child from school recently (6/5/12) when the police were called on an anonymous donestic disturbance call and discovered that my wife and i were medical marijuana patients who cultivated our own medicine in a seperate locked room and were wrongfully arrested. My wife and i were having a heated discussion in the middle of the day and i decided to leave as to not have the police called so 30min later my wife calls me stating that the police were there and even after telling them and proving there was no violence and stating that it was just an argument and i left, they forced there way in against my wife's will and started searching my house. My wife followed them telling them to stop searching without a search warrant and telling them she wanted to evoke her rights and make them get a warrant. They grabbed her and pushed her on the couch and told her to shut the F up or they were taking her to jail. They discovered my sons bed in the bedroom and said "oh there is a kids bed back here" and made her tell them who and where he was and they immediately took him out of school and wouldnt let my mother just pick him up from the bus stop. They also continued to search the house and question her without reading her rights or having a warrant. When i arrived home approx 1.5 hours after they had been there the plain clothed detective met me at the stairs and basically told me everything they found and asked me if i would sign a consent because they were going to get a warrant if i didnt. I informed and showed them all the legal and required documentation proving my legal right as a patient and they acted like they have never seen anything like it. They repeatedly called me a drug addict even though i told them i would submit to a test right there to prove i dont do any drugs, dont smoke ciggs, drink alcohol, or even drink or eat anything with caffeine in it which i have also proved in the random drug screens i now have to take. They didnt verify anything whatsoever and started destroying my plants and taking my medicine while waiting for a CPS worker to show up. I informed the police that this was a violation of my rights and they laughed and asked why i had plants in the kitchen like i was growing there or something. I informed them that when my son is at school is the only time i can work with the plants and that is why they were in the kitchen while my son was still 3 hours away from getting out of school. They were in trays and easily a 5 min cleanup. All in all they didnt respect my family or our rights at all and assumed that i endangered my son by cultivating even though i was legal and showed proof of the seperate lockable room and my son even told them the plants are daddys medicine and is locked in daddy's workroom always. Despite that and the fact that they even said he showed no signs of physical, mental, or emotional abuse or neglect they still took our baby away from us. I'm a single mother of 5, my children were illegally removed by Arlington, VA CPS, and my parental rights subsequently terminated based on "at risk" of abuse and neglect, since no abuse and neglect ever occurred. Arlington CPS workers repeatedly lied under oath to demonstrate "at risk" findings, as documented electronically. All the evidence was dismissed as "irregularities" by two local judges. My children were removed at school without serving with court papers by the order of Arlington JDRC Judge when CPS did not even ask for the removal. I had a history with that judge during an abusive marriage, and was threatened to "never to appear at her court again" when I've asked not to ruin our marriage by to convince my ex-husband to get substance abuse treatments and to help us to cope with an offset of an autism of our son. Only hearsay fabricated by the local elementary school teachers was used as sufficient reasons to removal my children, one was directly responsible for leaving my autistic son unattended on school playground resulting in a bad accident as reported by teacher assistant. That report led to my request with local CPS for investigation, the investigation was immediately closed, teacher assistant terminated, and Arlington CPS accused me of putting my children at risk of neglect and abuse. In a period of a few weeks my children were removed, the CPS worker even send an email to cancel an appointment with to later claim it was I who canceled it and therefore was not cooperating. That type of lies continued throughout until the termination of parental rights due to the same kind of "non cooperation on my part". Paternal grandmother in VT received approval from VT CPS to transfer children to her, Arlington CPS refused to initiate the transfer. Father of the children who remarried after the divorce also requested to transfer children to VT and was approved by local CPS, again, the transfer was never initiated. My parental rights were terminated based on the "best interests of the children" due to the duration in foster care, and no other reason, when three are required in the state of VA. Children were separated from each other, repeated abuse in foster care of my autistic son was reported, but denied by Arlington CPS. The Director of Arlington CPS insisted there were NO violations in the case. County appointed attorney threatened me repeatedly what if I try to do ANYTHING to the judge, my children's situation is only going to get worse, and I won't be able to prove anything anyway, because she is the first African-American judge, and enjoys high level support, he did not elaborate the nature of support, but did filed documents on my behalf without my knowledge and permission that prevented from taking the case to higher level courts. VA was recently considered one of the highest risk for corruption states in the US, a proper investigation into Arlington Court system and CPS with a focus kids for cash and elaborate foster care housing misREPORT COMMENTS

I was 15 my rapist who was 20. Outta fear he would kill myself I married him and gave birth to my five children ?angles the lord blessed me with to make it through the horror. I as well as my children suffered unimaginable physical and mental abuse at the hands of Mr. Mankins. After numerous calls to CPS by my family friends and teachers of my children?Trying to get my children and myself help CPS showed up to investigate many times and forced by Mr. Mankins I lied out of fear to do what I believed was protecting my children?s lives from Mr. Mankins!! We lived a very gruesome hidden life, told not to talk to anyone.. I couldn?t sign the children up for counseling or therapy with school or anyone, He feared that the children would talk!! We moved and moved every time the cops were called or any authority figure came to our home, Mr. Mankins has never been with an adult women, Having raped me at 15 and forcing me to merry him, at 17!! After the birth of my first son, in 1997, I had found out that Mr. Mankins had a report made by a young girls parents for sexual molestation of a 14 year while he was 24... When the investigator showed up. I called and reported it my self about a friend of his sister that He had in his words had sex with earlier that year on a camping trip that I due to being almost due to deliver the first blessing god gave me?she was 15 or 16!! This man is sick in a way that?s indescribable in words no matter how hard I try, In hopes that he would have to pay for his sins.. And My boyz Devon who, then was just 1 and ½ and Daren just months old, WOULD BE FREE and I would not be forced to bring another gift from god into this Nightmare; However Trinity County gave him UNLAWFUL sex with a minor. He was Given a year and let out on house arrest.. four months later!! 1995-1996 While at my parents house he physically beat the crap outta Jamey Bayley throwing her up against my parents air conditioner, Chocking ect? She is now a Trinity County Officer! The list goes on and on, Bottom line is Trinity county CPS?Trinity County Court and any agency there in have done NOTHING to HELP MY CHILDREN!! Although the truth is right there in BLACK AND WHITE!! I finally had the strength to stand On May 23, 2010 when Mr. Mankins became in raged and came at my father in his home with the knife and fork he was using? after a verbal assault on me. He then pushed and threw me around until finally he left the residents because I called 911. I cant leave angels on this earth if someone wont help me! Domestic Violence is a sickness?violence period is a sickness, Its bread from what children learn, As a mother of the most Amazing five little boyz in the world, I can break this ABUSIVE SICK TWISTED CYCLE! I admit that at just 15 I didn?t know anything but innocents and He Mr. Mankins Took that from me and because fear makes one do extraordinary things! I am a grandmother that just wanted to keep an open line of communication with my gson, Colby Jack Miner, around Snyder Texas, who was taken from his parents in that area. I am NOT a party to the parents problems or issues that made this mess. I did have a home study done, that Texas rejected, saying Washington didn't do it right. It has always been my understanding that any child placed in that kind of a situation, could be placed with the closest relative to the child, and that all avenues for that would be explored. But instead, Texas sold him into the "adoption for profit" program. It didn't have to be this way. For 10 years what I had to say or ask fell on deaf ears with no response until recently. Now they're saying there was never a home study done in my name, and because he was (sold for profit) adopted, there are privacy issues. OK. I get that also, but just wanted to be able to send him birthday cards, and occasional gifts, even if it was through a third party. I was then, and am now a viable relative placement for him. He didn't have to be adopted. CPS does NOT try to reunite familes. It costs money to do that, and takes too much time. Whereas human trafficking, funded by the federal government, for their "adoption" programs, is a very lucritive business. And their "barganing" with human lives, is not what it was set up to do. It needs to stop. Children should not be sold to strangers for mutual gain for any reason. Its outrageous! I was then, an am now, raising another grandchild, Colby Jacks' only biological brother. Thats as close to a family unit as it gets.It may or may not be too late for me to save Colby Jack. But I'm NOT going to be quiet about it, and I won't be swept under the carpet with their lies and twisted sense of what family really is, or could be.
