This is absolutely unacceptable. I have, like many others, either let go of some exciting employment opportunities or have temporarily suspended the search, in pursuit of H1B freedom, once for all. I, like many others have been struggling with it for last 11 years. Now was the opportunity that DOS/USCIS purposely took it away. Is it not unethical to retrogress the dates just before the intended filing day by such a honorable agency. If no intention to give any permanent residency to only certain group of high skilled workers like EB2, you should have informed about it earlier itself. Why are you breaking promises like this? Why this kind of senseless, cruel behavior towards legal immigrants who are waiting for years in line to get EAD and AP , so that we can freely look for better jobs, do a business, travel to home country to visit aging parents.
