USCIS and DOS changed the priority dates for categories all of sudden and this is causing financial and mental loss

HI, My priority date is on 06 2011 and i cancelled my trip and lost 900 Dollars plus 200 for non refundable visa fee and 400 for medical tests and 1500 for lawyer fees. And spent about two weeks to gather all required documents and filling documentation making sure everything is appropriate. All the money, hardwork and time is of no use now after sep 25th revised bulletin. All that left now is disappointment. USCIS along with DOS released a visa bulletin in accordance to visa modernization per Executive action. While doing this around September 8th the visa bulletin released had a priority date of USCIS accepting AOS application with people having priority dates for EB2 India with people before June 30th 2011 EB2 Chinese with people before May 01st 2014. Suddenly , the USCIS along with DOS have changed these dates to July 1st 2009 and Jan 1st 2013. This action is so irresponsible on the part of USCIS\DOS and have made many immigrants who paid and did medicals and other process to submit their application go into mental stress. I urge the president to step in and revert back the decision of changing dates and to honor those dates originally published atleast until end of Oct 2015.REPORT COMMENTS

Respected sir/madam- we have been waiting for the "I-485 - Adjustment Of Status" from the past 7 years and we felt happy after looking at Sep 9th visa bulletin. Infact, Me & my husband took leave (loss of pay) to attend Doctor's appointment (mandatory civil surgeon's doctor's appointment) and paid around $1100 to get required vaccinations for us and for our 8 years old son and paid attorney fee's for filing I-485 (Adjustment of status).However, because of the 'revised' visa bulletin released on SEP28,2015, all our hard work, money and our efforts are going in vain. We really put in lot of hard work to make sure the documentation is appropriate and spent 10+ days and were totally disappointed when we saw 'revised' visa bulletin that was released on Sep 25,2015 (3 working days before submitting our filled in applications). This is totally unfair and it really is causing us mental, physical and emotional stress. Kindly urge you to take action and revert back the decision of changing dates and to honor those dates originally published at least until end of Oct 2015. Thank you!!REPORT COMMENTS
