It has been one week of dealing with the biting, itching and crawly feeling. I have spent 300 dollars on bug bombs and sprays and an exterminator....he sprayed and now he thinks my girlfriend and I are nuts because we are still getting bit. My dad has been battling them for 8 months and we just found all this information on "invisible biting bugs" today. So I ran out and bought ammonia and tee tree oil ect.. 100 more dollars worth of stuff and it doesnt feel like its working. I don't understand why no scientists or no heath care workers no state...no government agency .no body knows nothing....please help us

I have so much to say about this that will never fit in this space. I spent over $2500 and I'm still at square one. I do think it all originated from Pine Bark mulch though. I just wish I knew how to remedy it before I jump off a bridge!

My prob started 4 months ago after staying in a hotel. I think it's prob bed bugs b/c recently started to find items w/ black stains but landlord sent PCO who said it wasn't (they only saw one of the items). Many visible bites, biting, crawling and stinging sensations, fear of going to bed are all getting worse and worse. Between not sleeping much, laundry, bagging clothes and blankets ,looking for what I can throw out every day, trying different things to wash with and apply to skin prior to bed, don't know how much longer I can keep this up. Whether this is bed bugs who hide really well, mites, or something else, please try to find a cure b/c this is ruining people's lives, causing family strife, etc. I'm not really sure if the biting and crawling sensations are just allergic responses to a bug biting me someplace I can't see such as my back, or having bitten me shortly before and left, or actual real-time bites by something so small it's invisible. Please make this a priority and help your fellow citizens (taxpayers).

Please do what you can to solve this problem before it becomes epidemic. I have been battling these invisible monsters for going on a year since being introduced to them from a friend. They are more than an inconvenience. I have spent hundreds if dollars in sprays, bug bombs, various other remedies, not to mention the throwing away of beds, furniture and clothes. I have lots countless nights of sleep because of the intense itching as well. Please help!

I recently began suffering from bites that had no explanation, pin pricking sensations, itching. No one will diagnose until they can physically see what's wrong. Not everything can be explained by sight.

My story is quite similar, though I have not seen mites. HOW STRONG MAGNIFICATION HAS WORKED FOR ANYONE ON THIS SITE? THANKS. There is a bird nest in tree just outside the house. Should I inspect it? How do I leave here and not take them with me? Do I try to lure them all out with vaseline and tea tree oil. Do most on this website find that they live on humans or do they just bite us and leave. It seems if this were just static electricity, or dry skin, etc. they would not seem worse at night and measure to treat would work. I came to a friend's home in Las Vegas to work on it while living in the home. After being there about two weeks, continuing now for over a month, I started itching badly and had what appeared to be bite marks. I returned to the doctor and asked for Permethrin Cream even though they felt certain it was not scabies. The biting and crawling sensations seem worse from about 3 am until daylight but can occur anytime. How much maginfication

This microscopic nearly invisible scurge is highly contageous, and are rampant as they multiply very quickly. They can become airborne, no physical contact necessary. I've collected tens of these buggers. And they lay eggs on your body in a tract that looks like a scratch or a pimple about to erupt...... !! I know I scratched it off of myself (it didn't hurt. The female burrow just beneath the skin's surface and lay her eggs, three or four at a time.) and examined them and to my surprise spotted what looked like a white mite crawling really fast! I killed it. But there's more, they are mostly small, black pepper specks like a period at the end of this sentence. Some are light brown or even reddish, but the majority is black. My hair has what looks like danruff, but I don't have that condition, and at night it feels like things are flitting across my face like walking into a spider web or have your hair fallen onto your face but when I go to grab it off, there's nothing there. The bites are sharp quick pin pricks; annoying as heck, and of course the crawling around sensation when they get active. This is maddening and it is spreading like wildfire! People who are afflicted don't even know that they are afflicted, they think it's allergy or just ignore the whole thing!

This nightmare just began in the beginning of January. I started feeling bites while I was sleeping. I have a cat and automatically started treating him and the environment for fleas. I didn't get bitten for a coupla days. Then, I started to feel more biting. My usual flea protocol was not stopping this. Then after a couple of weeks, I started to feel crawling on my arms in bed. I thought it was bed bugs - the thing I've always dreaded. Treating for bed bugs did nothing. My husband and I were getting seriously bitten at night to the point that I dread feeling sleepy. I figured out that these 'things' are most active from about 1am to 5 am. So I started going to bed at 5 am and I'm able now to get some sleep. After about 3 weeks, the crawling increased and I started feeling them run into my eyes and nose. I've tried so many methods that I learned on Birdmite.org. Things help but I can't get rid of them. My doctor thinks I'm crazy and insisted that I have bed bugs. I'm going to throw everything out and move bu I'm scared because they are living on us. I followed the advice from that site that said to put vaseline and tea tree oil on an infected area of the body. I did that and watched with a magnifier. To my horror, hundred of tiny little black flecks came out of my skin. I scrubbed them off and the itching stopped for a day. Soaking in Epsom salt water with hydrogen peroxide and few other ingredients brings them out of the skin also. You can see them in the bath water. I don't understand why no one believes us. But guess what, one thing I know to be true - those of you who ignore us and think we're ridiculous - you're gonna get it too. It's only a matter of time. I guess its going to take the 'right person' to get this and people will start listening. Help us please!

Hello, I don't know where else to go regarding my living conditions. My apartment management have been giving the residents here at Tall Timbers apartment a hassle just to feel relieved in staying in a clean environment. We have been told numerous of times the mold here is condensation and also if we need our carpet cleaned we must pay even if we have renewed our lease numerous of times. As we began fighting to petition our living environment we have asked each other what was the main issues we are battling besides the mold. We are also dealing with severe itching to the point where we bleed and leave scabes which is a constin itch. Some of the children here are getting ringworms. I took my youngest to the dermatologist and she mention ecezma but I informed her everyone in the house hold is itching so she mention it was my carpet in my home. When I mention severe itching we all as residents are itching in our private area, buttocks, stomach, back leg, arms anywhere you can think of. This is a deep itch to where you want feel relief unless you where to bleed. If you are not able to help who can? We have contacted nearly everyone for help but no one seems to care. I work in pharmaceutical and I am afraid it is contagious to where if I am counting drugs no matter how many times I cleanse my hands if it can be passed on.

You have a duty to serve the public, and the only way to do that is to inform people about what these are and how they can best be stopped. I started experiencing the biting on the way home from the dermatologist (whom I was seeing for a suspicious mole). That was two months ago, and I still have very little information and feel as if I am living in a horror movie. (I also still have the mole, because the doctor got mad when I called and asked if they knew if there was a parasitic insect in the waiting room.) I live in fear that I may spread these things to others and/or never get rid of them. Had I known what they were and how to fight them, I wouldn't have wasted so much time while they multiplied. It is irresponsible not to spread the word about these things. Dear God, help us. Please.

My family and I have been fighting these invisible bed bugs for four months now and we are terrified that we have infected our brand new house with them. We were so happy to move in and now we are baffled and frightened that we may never get any relief. This is very scary and hope to try some suggestions given to try and get some rest. Please create some kind of special project research to help us get to the bottom of this growing epidemic. Help us and maybe find out what products in windex and listerine can get some kind of vaccine started or perhaps a blast of the areas infected with some kind of pesticide solution to spray from the sky with planes or something!!!!!!!! You guys have spray for mosquitos so why not something for these mites!!!! Maybe when one of the scientist at the CDC has his family go thru this hell we might get some results!

Please do something!!! How can you live with yourselves, letting people suffer this kind of torment, getting in bed with Monsanto. Do you know what it feels like to have hundreds of tiny bugs crawling all over your body, and especially your face? Do you know how disgusting that is? How demoralizing? How humiliating? and then have them eat your hair, and leave little pathways all over your scalp, but when you show them to your doctor, when you ask for help - they lie you straight in the face, and tell you they don't see anything! How do you live with that? Know that you WILL have to answer for that. That is on your head!!! I am a good person. I have never hurt anyone on purpose. I don't deserve to be treated with such inhumane, cruel, and heartless way! You will pay for this. God is a JUST GOD, and you will get what you deserve!
