How long are you people going to live in the dark ages? The Jews have been restored, the Japanese were given stipends, yet you dance on ancestral bones of dead indigenous people of NA. Ludicrous.

As a Taino I feel it is imperative for the United States which is a nation that contains some of the most active and vibrant Indigenous communities in the world to formaly recognize this declaration. This declaration for the first time represents the global consensus of Indigenous opinion and is a clear an unequivocal call to those who control the reins of political power in this century that Indigenous people will stand together to demand we know are our rights before the Creator.

US CONGGRESS HOLDS A POWERFULL INFLUENCE TO PLANT A NEW MORALITY OF LAW FOR EVERY CAUSE UNDER THE SUN AND MOON. INDIGENOUS PEOPLE ARE SCATTERED ALL OVER THE PLANET. MOREOVER, US MULTINATIONAL CORPORATIONS USED TO OPERATE AT ALL CORNERS OF THE WORLD TO GRAB RESOURCES WHICH ARE CONSERVED MOSTLY BY INDIGENOUS PEOPLE FROM ALL AGES. NOW, IN ORDER TO PROTECT THE AMERICAN OWN INTEREST, CONGGRESS SHOULD ESTABLISH "DOES" AND "DONTS" FOR US CITIZENS OPERATIONG ALL OVER THE WORLD. I AM CALLING THE US CONGRESS TO TAKE CARE THE INTEREST OF THE INDIGENOUS PEOPLE BY RATIFYING UN DECLARATIONS OF THE INDIGENOUS RIGHTS RIGHT NOW. GOD BLESS AMERICA, GOD BLESS ALL WHO STRIVE FOR THE VOICESLESS AND POWERLESS INDIGENOUS. KAREL WILHELMUS DANORIKU,SH

There will be great repercussions if world nations cannot cease their over four hundred year genocide of indigenous peoples, and there needs to be a massive reassessment of who "native peoples" are considered to be, considering the bureaucratic chutes and ladders on must traverse in order to obtain tribal recognition yet another example of the powerful forces of assimilation still in motion.
