Though this is a step in the right direction, a lot more needs to be done to fulfill the promises that have been broken time and time again regarding the needs of all Native Americans; who have long been bearing the brundt of the decisions made by our governemnt affecting its citizens; economy, health care, education. The list goes on and on. This nation's first peoples have always been overlooked and til this day, still sacrifice (through no choice of their own), more than the average American. What is wrong with this picture, and how much more do we have to bear?Dec 8th, 2010Someone from Pompano Beach, FL signed.

I agree with all that my brothers and sisters have said. And add that we too have, or should have all the same God given rights that all Americans, past, present, and in the further, have, do, and will claim for themselves. And that it is about time they realize this to be true and accept it as others had to when they issued this very same claim to the world, as we do today.REPORT COMMENTS
