As a OEF veteran that suffers from PTSD I have been on several types of medication (valium, xanex, ambien,...). I read a study conducted on veterans that suffered from PTSD and took my chances on the plant. This is the only thing that allows me to sleep through the night without have terrors. I am no longer taking any medications and instead using marijuana and sleep without being to "drugged-up" like I was on the Valium and others. It's long been a huge market here in Kentucky, the evil weed, and if we followed through like many of the trend setting states we could reap the benefits of taxation. I have long since grown past such use, but think it's a far safer options for the younger generation, and the sick. The fact of the matter is, people will get intoxicated, it is ingrained in our history, for thousands of years, and may even be the one action that gave us the 1% superiority to apes. If you figure in the cost of combating, and imprisoning offenders, coupled with the tax revenue that could be raised we are simply fools for not pushing legalization.REPORT COMMENTS
