most medicines are derived from plants and herbs. I have been diagnosed with the painful condition of Fibromyalgia. I was without my Lyrica for about four day's because my doctor was on vacation and I could'nt get my Lyrica. I had a friend who gave me two marijuana cigaretts. She told me to try these cigarettes that may actually help my pain. So I did try them, and it actually did help alliveiate the pain. I was shocked. All everyone hears is that its bad for you. But it really does have medicinal purposes. I would take it for my chronic pain. if legalized. It would monitered with guidelines like any other pain medication, only without a 100 different side effects. Well I went back to my Doctor for my prescription of Lyrica (after her vacation) and she did a urine analysis,which showed the marijuana in the test. So I was pennelized by my Doctor. She said that since I had smoked the marijuana, that she could no longer prescribe the Lyrica for my pain. So I guess I will just have to be in this dabilatating pain until marijuana is legalized for medicinal purposes. Because my friend was from Florida,and she is gone back to Florida. And marijuana is not anywhere to be found. I think law enforcement must have it all. I also have an anxiety disorder, and it actually helped that also.REPORT COMMENTS
