It is awful to have a parent use a kid as a weapon.it is actually beyond despicable..Abuse is what this is..period... I am dealing with being the targeted parent and it is unfair cruel and quite frankly abusive towards my 6 year old son whom once was attached to me loving and caring. Now he says he hates me and wants nothing to do with. He has also been alientated from my parents, his grandparents whom he was very close with, he's also been alienated from his aunt and uncle. All this behavior from my husband, whom never paid attention to our children prior to divorce. It is a sick and twisted abusive mind game to play on a child. It needs to be recognized in courts everywhere and all lawyers, judges and anyone dealing with family court matters should be schooled on. Save our children!!!!!!REPORT COMMENTS

I have been denied all but the smallest time with my (now) 7 yr-old daughter, having perhaps had but 40 hours SUPERVISED visitation with her in the last 2 years. All because of lies told by the mother to the court. The mother even going as far as to hire a professional liar in the guise of the PRE Debra Govan PRE license # LPC 0002523, who was admonished in 2010 by DORA for lying on her resume about her qualifications. The resume submitted to the court in (my) case# 2008 DR444 on 1/18/2013 clearly shows the PRE not heeding the warning from DORA. And, in fact, worse, in the certified transcript from the hearing on 4/17/2013 she clearly lies to the Judge, UNDER OATH(!!!) about her qualifications. The report she wrote was nothing more than a hack job to enable the mother to alienate me from my child by taking her away from me. If the PRE is willing to lie about the only OBJECTIVE paperwork submitted to the court, she's certainly willing (and did) lie about the completely SUBJECTIVE report itself. There has never been any evidenc of the abuse claimed, and in fact the therapist assigned to the case testified at that hearing that the child was happies in my company, that she had witnessed the child say that I was not her real father "because I'm not the one she spends time with", and also state that her "mommy will be mad if I spend more time with you". We The Fathers need to put a stop to this, and we're counting on YOU Our elected servants to fix this gross, systemic, and all-pervasive injustice.REPORT COMMENTS

This is like a disease that is destroying our future generations. I am amazed at how many people it affects. Our is one. My husband saw our granddaughter on the street and she would not speak to him. Later the police called my husband and informed him her father wanted to press charges on him for child abduction! He told the children he was dying of cancer like his sister and put them in a situation of feeling guilty for loving their mother. What kind of person does this? There is NO help for this. Judges won't acknowledge anything about this behavior and it is pure child abuse. Someone needs to step up and do something. Maybe that's why there are so many divorces today.REPORT COMMENTS

Courts need to stop ordering supervised visitation upon great parents with no mental health, substance abuse or any other issues when the alienating parent is simply using money and corruption to gain a financial advantage in the divorce. CT Courts are allowing this to happen....there is no justice in such a case. It is parental alienation via the judges and lawyers....my own doctor and therapist weren't good enough...it took tens of thousands of dollars and three additional experts to get my children back. Any man who would do that to his children is not a man especially one who was absent the first 8 years self-medicating his anxiety with alcohol and drugs. My child told me one day recently he is not nice because he isn't nice to me via her own observations. Even at a young age these children figure out us parents and all who are alienated must hang onto that hope that your love will be recognized and they will come home to you one day!REPORT COMMENTS
