More than a decade of wait for getting green card, is by no means modern. It hurts investment to local economy and also it hurts the families waiting endlessly to live freely in such a great country and oldest democracy of the world.REPORT COMMENTS

Enough is enough, why the hell are we suffering so much while we have not done anything wrong, paid taxes, abided by law yet we have no freedom to switch jobs, living in anxiety of job loss for years. Please, we are living souls like you and have a family to feed and kids to raise like you. Do not take away ours and our kids future. We need Ead for i140 approved.REPORT COMMENTS

I strongly support this petition. - Provide EAD for all those who have I-140 approved without any restrictions - Provide Advance Parole - Permit pre-registration to file I-485 - Allow porting to any employer without starting Labor Certification (LC) and I-140 again These are the very basic needs for the Skilled Immigrants which will benefit both employees and employers. Currently DHS is in the Final rule making stage for amendments to the regulations related skilled migrants But this rule adds "Compelling Circumstance" clause to obtain EAD for I-140 approved and many other things which will not improve the current situation of skilled migrants. https://www.regulations.gov/docket?D=USCIS-2015-0008 My comments regarding this rule are - 1. Remove the "Compelling Circumstance" clause. Allow EAD for all approved I-140. Remove the 180 days clause / wait period to apply for EAD. This will provide real portability. 2. Provide Advance Parole. This will stop hassle of Visa Stamping, Documentation while travelling overseas. 3. If EAD is provided to I-140 holders, Employers will save lot of time and money for H1-B renewals. 4. This will retain skilled migrants in US and stop them moving to other countries like Canada. 5. Remove the vaccination during the green card process. Vaccination may have adverse effects. Allow general medical test if required. 6. Utilize the unused Green cards to remove the long waiting / backlog for EB-2 category. Allocate more GC numbers for backlogged categories EB-2/3. Allocate only one GC number for all family members of a Principle applicant. Currently one GC is allocated for each member in the family. 7. Reduce the PERM and I-140 processing timeline 8. Allow the applicants / immigrants to access their petitions, documents. Currently only employers and attorneys can access them. 9. Remove country based green card allocation. Its more than 1.5 years President Obama has announced immigration reform. I request the representatives / Senators to go through the problems mentioned by immigrants in below regulation and make DHS to pass the rule at the earliest. https://www.regulations.gov/docket?D=USCIS-2015-0008REPORT COMMENTS

The wait times for getting green cards or even an EAD in EB2 category is very very very long. Its only holding back entrepreneurs to come forward and do build new ventures.REPORT COMMENTS
