Please stop the H1B Visa program it is hurting the American worker. I have been in IT for 17 years and seen the decline. I keep hearing that there is not enough skilled workers in the US, but that is a big lie. The problem is that corporations do not want to pay anyone a fair wage, so they go out and bring cheap labor back to our country. It was bad enough with all the outsourcing, but now they just bring them back to the US as guest workers. If the government wants to fix the jobless claims and create more jobs for US citizens then stop allowing H1B Visa guest workers from coming and taking our jobs. Any politician that supports the H1B Visa program will not get my vote nor my families vote. I will lobby and share this petition with as many people as can to stop this unfair law. It is hurting American workers and needs to be stopped. We need our elected representatives to champion the people and stop the corporations from exploiting our economy. I keep hearing that the US is falling behind. How are we supposed to compete when our own government is against the American worker and allowing these greedy corporations to bring cheap labor to take our jobs? The American dream keeps getting farther and farther from Americans citizens because of laws like this. My oldest son told me that he wanted to be a video game designer. It would not be a good idea, because they will end up giving your job away to an Indian who will work for half of your wage. Even if you are more qualified, speak good English and work harder they would still go with the cheap labor to save a buck. Americans are hardworking and intelligent, we are competitive, but cannot win with unfair laws that only benefit the rich. I consider it modern day slavery.REPORT COMMENTS
