This is happening to someone we know right now...and recently to another person we know...as a woman I have seen many women who should have been the ones put in jail....and I have known men who did abuse and deserve jail...but I have seen quite a few innocent ones suffer at the hands of disgruntled soon to be ex-partners esp when the word divorce comes up.....there needs to be more done to ensure that the woman is telling the truth and people are not being falsely arrested, Domestic violence is a major issue, but we can not sacrifice the potential rights of one person for the sake of another, we have to make sure there is equal protection under the law.REPORT COMMENTS

It is not right to arrest both parties in a domestic violence situation without there being some type of investigation, at least to ask questions. I have seen personally that no investigation is done and oft times the police wont act at all. Many times both parties are arrested because they DONT bother to ask questions. I'm sure they are lying to the people when they say, "there's nothing we can do or we'll have to take you both in". I think the way to avoid this is that some type of publication is need on rules pertaining to police procedures. This is why most people in certain areas will not cooperate with the police because they are constantly being mistreated by them.REPORT COMMENTS

She went to the court and lyed about everything its unbelievable.here it is a week later and I couldn't have the sheriff go with me to the home and to get things .finally get something but most of it was broken it's a shame women get away this .thay can say anything to the judge and they take there word for it. I'm am going through this as we speak. It's asinine that anyone could simply write and say something happened without having to prove it first. I was arrested and sat in jail awaiting my bail hearing. Missed work. And could have been fired or suspended. This has happened twice already since Nov. 2014. When will the lies end, I have other kids n family to worry about, and being behind bars for an allegation with no proof isn't justified at all. Something needs to change. Because there are real victims out here who really need help. Stop allowing innocent people to be blackmailed and lied on and the accusers to just roam free to do it more if they feel like.REPORT COMMENTS

A Sheriff's Deputy on Okaloosa, Florida was shot and killed a few days ago, while serving an unconstitutional "domestic violence injunction" that was issued with NO TRIAL, NO DUE PROCESS, and NO EVIDENCE! The guy was going through a divorce, and was very likely being FALSELY ACCUSED of domestic abuse.... but the courts don't care! An accusation is ALL they need!... and there is NO RISK whatsoever, for LYING to get a "domestic violence injunction"! NONE! ALL prosecutors absolutely REFUSE to prosecute people who LIE under OATH, to get a "domestic violence injunction"! This man was about to have EVERYTHING STOLEN from him, through a "domestic violence injunction" with the help of the court system.... all with NO TRIAL, NO DUE PROCESS, and NO EVIDENCE! YES! It IS THAT SIMPLE! Accuse someone of "abuse", and that person is SERVED with a "domestic violence injunction" (called protective orders and restraining orders in other states). These ORDERS make the accused HOMELESS, and make it ILLEGAL for them to go to their OWN house... giving the "accuser" possession of the house and EVERYTHING else! MILLIONS of men have had this happen to them!.... and they KNOW there is NO DEFENSE for it... NONE! The guy was at his lawyers office, trying to protect himself LEGALLY, when he was served with the "domestic violence injunction" that LABELLED him a "domestic abuser" and gave possession of EVERYTHING he owned to his "accuser" (see the massive incentive here?... they were going through a divorce).... ALL with NO TRIAL, NO DUE PROCESS, and NO RISK whatsoever for FALSELY ACCUSING!! This man was backed into a corner, and was having EVERYTHING stolen from him... like MILLIONS of other men in America, EVERY DAY! THAT is WHY Deputy Bill Myers was shot and killed! Don't get the wrong idea.... I feel for the Deputy and his family, but he was serving an ORDER based on NOTHING but an accusation, with NO TRIAL or DUE PROCESS whatsoever! We can blame America's LAWMAKERS for this Deputy's death! Thousands and thousands of citizens have been reporting these WIDESPREAD and SYSTEMIC VIOLATIONS of MILLIONS of American's BASIC CIVIL RIGHTS for YEARS!!.... but our lawmakers REFUSE to fix the problem of EPIDEMIC FALSE ACCUSATIONS, and the COURTS taking them as TRUTH with NO TRIAL and NO DUE PROCESS.... AND they absolutely REFUSE to prosecute the false accusers, even when they ADMIT they LIED under oath! email the Dept. of Justice, Special Litigation Section and tell them to do their JOB!.... which is to protect the civil rights of Americans. They ONLY take emails... of course! I have been victimized by such false allegations, lost all 14th amendment rights, parental rights, time with children after being vindicated of violent crimes Persists, I Was arrested three times from April 27th 2014 - May 6, 2914. Four Felonies, one was a Violent B first degree ( Breaking and entering Burglary with a deadly weapon ) no such crime ever occurred. I have courthouse survelilance footage as evidence of one attest.
