I am a sexual assault survivor. My attacker began violently raping me while I was asleep. My screams brought two people into the room to witness what had occurred/was occurring. He was not indicted by the grand jury of 10 older men and one woman. My fiance was accused of DV by his ex-wife, who has a known history of filing false allegations of abuse. No less than 9 incidents have involved police, investigated and determined to be false, by both officers and judges. He was never accused of actually laying hands upon her, but was charged with DV under OH Rev Code for DV, which states causing someone to believe they are in imminent physical danger. Those charges were dropped, there was no case. However, she had applied for a civil protection order, and the judge awarded it, without hearing the case or her long history of false allegations. The case was appealed and remanded back to the domestic court for a full hearing. It's been 18 months and my fiance has not seen his children. She will not allow them to come over, even though they have shared parenting. He can't talk to her, he can just continue to file contempt charges, in hopes they may be heard before the (now) teenage children become adults. We hope and pray the judge will see what is happening here and refuse to grant the 12 month CPO, which has already been in effect for 18 months. It is a permnent violent offense on an otherwise clean record of a law-abiding citizen. Women like this woman, and all other men and women who make false allegations are the reason why real victims are further traumatized by police and courts. Only in the case of true assault, sexual or otherwise, does the burden of proof lie with the victim. False accusers will scream all day about how they were "abused" when real victims often lack the energy or conviction to speak so boldly. These women are the reason why real victims can't get justice. There should be sanctions in place for the people who abuse the system meant to protect. These people should face criminal charges on par with what they falsely accused someone of doing. They should have to pay attorney fees, which are now in excess of $15,000. They should have to pay for the officer's time wasted, along with any other tax-funded resources that were wasted. They should be ordered to do community service requiring them to work with victims, or at a facility that helps victims. They need to understand they are hurting innocent people beyond the innocent person they accused to begin with. They should be required to apologize for wasting resources meant for victims, wasting the court's time, along with making a public statement retracting the lies that often ruin reputations and relationships. -

I am being accused of domestic violence and have 2 witnesses that reported that she attacked me. My case against her was thrown out of court and now I'm left with the expense of fighting for my life. All of this for wanting to end a relationship with someone who is unstable and controlling. The laws need to be changed to prevent people from using the system as a tool for revenge.REPORT COMMENTS

GF with TBI suffers w/psychosis exhibits A/V & olfactory hallucinations(hears voice of F. neighbor in house ,who I've never met, never ending accusation that we're having an affair.(she gave birth awhile back and my GF claimed it was mine According to her I had the house bugged,video cameras hidden in TV,shower nozzle,bedroom.....I hacked the PC,her cell phone and my phone. She was impulsive w/frequent violent combative outbursts. She kept telling me I was trying to kill her with poison in food or pumping poison into house.Unable to trust me or express empathy...called the police 4 times telling them I was abusing her(this happened shortly after she attacked me)Police realized she was ill and left each time.Condition of her cont.to decline,hallucinating day and night.Outlandish accusations of blame and shame were constant.On Aug.21,she was talking in her phone,she was talking to the husband of girl I'm accused of being with but no one was on phone . She remained outside that night and she was very distant,and staring at sky,was also talking into side window of above mentioned neighbors.. She called me over and said "just tell me"They are gonna come out and talk."But they weren't home,we both saw them pack up for a trip earlier that day and my GF started a coversation w/the neighbor,she introduced me to her(first time meeting her)As the night cont.She remained outside w/me encouraging her to come inside... all of the sudden she came up to me and said"you have a video cam in the shower spicket."She eventually came inside,she sat quietly and guarded....when she did talk it was the same....begging me "Just tell me the truth it will be all right ,and accusing me of being a liar.went to bed for a couple hours....when I woke up ....she was saying that she was gonna start living life, then she said "I'm going to the.hospital. I asked for what reason?She said to get better so she should start living life.She drove off.2 hrs.later police arrived, hooked me up, took me to a station,handcuffed me to a table with a short chain.The detect.came in and I began asking about my GF...he reassured me she was ok and I began telling him everything that's been going on...and how she's become so delusional,paranoid and adorned.She told me many times,and attempted 4 times to get me arrested,she said I was stealing her narcotics and giving them to girl next door.The Detect.pretty much ignored what I said.He went on and said that I beat her up,slapped her face and pulled her hair.5.5 months (35,000 cash bond)in jail took a plea bargain charge to get out would've had to stay in 6 mts more to go to trail plus I had a public defend.I didn't trust...she was extremely bias and a liar.I was then taken to another state's county jail because I was on probation in the state for a charge I got before I got w/now my ex-. So,got out of that jail and now I'm heading to court to get.punished twice for my ex's false allegations.They can put me in prison for a year and a halfREPORT COMMENTS
