We lost my sweet 11 year-old cousin to the choking game in Sept. 2005. It was a terrible tragedy. Some of the kids in the neighborhood "taught" him how but he tried to do it alone and accidentally hung himself in the bathroom. No one in our family had even ever heard of this "game" until his death. I agree that our government should try and educate people on the dangers of this horrible "game".REPORT COMMENTS

I have personally taken on this cause. I am working with Sartee Riley on getting the word out so that no other parents have to go through what she has. Please contact your school district and ask that information on the choking game be given to both students and parents.REPORT COMMENTS
