I-485 family based was filed September 2014 and up to this date no response , even my lawyer can't get an update on my case. This is really ridiculous to leave people in limbo for 2 years. But to cash my check took only 2 days to do so. Ive been dealing with immigration for 22 years now and for 22 years immigration cant get their freaking act together. You try waiting for a piece of paper for 22 years that tells you what you can do and what you cant do and let me know how that feels. In the mean time you can't get married, you can't travel, you can't work and and add peoples insults to that because your an immigrant that has no papers. What people don't know is that your trying to do the right thing for 22 years and is the system that the government made that screws people up. 22 years think about that and let me know if you would be able to give that back to me.
