There is a valid argument that the States with AH64's would be better served having medium or heavy lift helicopters as state assets However, the framers of the constitution saw the need for a balance of power. No one is predicting the immediate overthrow of the U.S. government by active duty forces, but it would be prudent to maintain an offsetting power that resides in the hands of State Governors. Please do not let the Federal process of incremental increasing powers to include taking this power away from the States who are the last line of defense of the constitutional intent.REPORT COMMENTS
