The ACS provides invaluable and unbiased data that helps determine funding for schools, hospitals, infrastructure projects, etc. Dont let the Republicans kill it as "wasteful funding"

This is a very important resource for business, academics and others for assessing our economy and population. Please reconsider and fund the ACS.

Why would you want to deprive the government of information important to the implementation of its duties? Sounds pretty stupid.

The ACS provides many people with an excellent source of data about what is happening. Failure to have the ACS means ignorance will increase. We well be much less able to know what is happening. Ignorance is not bliss - it is a disaster. Why do we want to reduce knowledge as the world's economies become increasingly knowledge based?

As a sociologist, the ACS gives me accurate, up-to-date statistics to present to my college students and to use in my research. The data is objective and authoritative. Please continue funding this invaluable resource.

As an urban planners, I frequently see how the ACS provides invaluable information that cannot be accessed from any other source. Please retain this incredible resource-- it is critical to making informed policy and planning decisions for our country.

Many graduate students and professors use this data for academic research that provide recommendations for policy and corporate decisions. Cutting this funding is cutting out informed decisions that affect everyone in the U.S.

The American Community Survey is a useful tool that shows the ability of the federal government to wisely spend money on something that is useful to a wide variety of people, including the job creators who are so often cited in daily political discourse. I urge you to oppose cutting off funding.
