I believe prisonners that haven't done a not so harsh crime shouldn't suffer harsh time . It takes memories and time from they're kids and familes. I do agree that harsh crimes deseve punishment. But for the non violent crimes it should be lessen punishmentFeb 1st, 2015Someone from Oakland, CA signed.

OUR CONGRESS ALMOST WENT BROKE AND HAD TO QUICKLY ACT TO PREVENT LOSS OF SSID AND SSI CHECKS FROM DISABLED INDIVIDUALS IF THEY BROUGHT BACK FEDERAL PAROLE THERE WOULD BE MORE MONEY FOR CONGRESS TO WORK WITH AND HELP OUR ECONOMY WITHOUT THE DISABLED SUFFERING FROM ITREPORT COMMENTS

I THINK BRINGING BACK PAROLE WOULD GREATLY BENEFIT OUR GOVERNMENT SIMPLY BECAUSE THEY WILL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO REBUILD OUR RESOURCES INSTEAD OF UNDERMINING THEM.REPORT COMMENTS

Non-Violent offenders should not have such harsh sentencing. Most are doing more time than someone convicted of murder or manslaughter. Which makes even harder for them to adjust when They are released. Also by the time they come home any trade taken obtained will be expired.REPORT COMMENTS

My son is a good person & a hard worker, has never committed a violent crime. He had a meth addiction. The Cat Team with the Calcasieu Sheriff's thought he owned the family business so they took the word of a convicted felon who committed armed robbery & thought they could take the business. The Lawyer I hired spent no time preparing for the trial so was found quilty of 3 charges. He could have pled quilty & received 10 years but we choose to go to trial & the Judge sentenced him to 226 months. My Business has suffered since he has been incarcerated. Please resurrect paroleREPORT COMMENTS
