I have watched two elections in my life time be thrown by the electoral college. Twice the popular vote, typically by large numbers meant nothing. It's time to start listening to the majority of our voters and putting the people into office that they want. The Electoral College no longer needed. It's time to abolish it. -

The rest of the world is laughing at us when the majority of the Americans vote for one candidate and another one is elected president because of the electoral college. We see this as a mean of rigging the election and strongly argue to abolish this or the Supreme Court should stuck this down. The electoral college steals the votes of people in small states. Wyoming as an example is always a red state. Every democrat in that state does not have a voice because the electoral college automatically goes to the Republican side. If we want people to engage in the political process then they need to feel like their voice matters. We have to make all votes even. A vote in Wyoming must be the same as a vote in California or New York. Every single vote cast must carry the same weight if you want people to actually care and participate.REPORT COMMENTS
