If the USA truly cares for its people, and if our rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness is something our congress takes seriously, then they will recognize how the expense of insulin and other life saving drugs goes contrary to these rights. I have had diabetic friends try to save money by stretching their insulin doses or even not taking it, and these are friends who work and still can't afford the life-saving drugs needed. Without insulin people die, sometimes quickly, sometimes agonizingly slowly. Many Americans cannot afford hundreds of dollars for a vial of medicine, and really even middle class Americans who could technically afford it at the expense of taking a vacation or paying for college shouldn't be asked to do so either. Please think of the people of America and act to reform expensive drug policies that literally kill.REPORT COMMENTS
