As the largest single employer of veterans the USPS should not be crippled by this bill. Instead I urge you to support H.R. 1351. This is not the time to be laying off 220,000 employees, many of whom are veterans.

I have worked for postal service for over 6 years, I am far from over paid as Issa would have people believe. Issa make false claims. Why is Issa not held responsible for misleading the public and congress?  I believe there is a lot of corruption going on. As our union states, congress got the postal service in this mess, and they can fix it. Our union acted in good faith with Postal Service and contract was signed. If Issa's bill is passed, it means contracts are not worth the paper they are written on, and bill would destroy unions and bargaining rights and protection for the working class people. It would also have domino affect on other company's and employees. Not just postal employees. I don't know anyone working for postal service that is rich as Issa is. Issa is a business man. I hope and pray some national news media will expose the truth about postal service financial problems. We held protests around the country and it didn't receive the news coverage that it deserves. President Obama is a good and honest man. Republicans have made it hard on President Obama from the day he took office. I pray President Obama is reelected.

I oppose this bill, its ridiculous. I live in a small community & have had a Post Office for years. But when goverment gets in debt, it's the small towns & the people of that small town who pay the price! Come on really?

My mail has been consistently messed up on each move I have had to make over the last 2 years & even lost, but if the changes are implemented, I believe it will be worse!

As a person who uses postal mail quite often, I do not wish to see any post office shut-downs and more job losses in this country. Not everyne is a huge proponent of email, and not everyone has access to it anyway. The post office has always played an important role in America, and I ask that you allow it to continue to do so.

The problems with the USPS are from decades of overpaying employees and now giving those same employees healthy retirement benefits. New hires in about the last ten years are not the problem--the problem is with those hired before.
